Was in on a weekend Sunday. Crowded, public attendance to support evemt impressive. Family fun. Numerous sponsors but primary is Quality Foods. Sand castle participants both domestic & international as far as from the Netherlands. Entrance by donation. Not wheel chair friendly. Suggested $3/p.p. Other activities were kite competition and off course on the beach and water park for the kids. Food truck wood fired pizzas, mini donuts, hot dogs hamburgers & ice cream. Line ups normal all day long. Including public toilet especially on the ladies side. Free parking.

A ~20-30 minute hike along the railroad track from the Cameron Lake Lodge will bring you to this gorgeous trestle with panoramic views of Cameron Lake. There are planks missing from the trestle so use caution when crossing
