The tour is inexpensive, informative, and not too long. We thoroughly enjoyed it with our kids who are 9 and 11. Also, the gift shop has some lovely items. The staff we're extremely helpful.

What a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday this year. This was my first time ziplining and the most fun thing I've done that I can remember. I loved everything about the experience other than the very challenging walk straight up a hill after the first zip line - very exhausting! I recommend to pay the extra $5 for an ATV ride to the platforms. The property is beautiful and awesome views of the valley. The guides were patient, friendly and made it a great day for us. I can't wait to go back! Thanks Hywire!

Great family activity. Leisurely train ride took about an hour to Grosse Isle. Well-preserved train.
Vendors set up selling smokies ($4), hotdogs ($3), pop, chips, popcorn, gummies ($1 each), pie and homemade items ($2), whole pies ($8), hot drinks ($1). Picnic tables in a sheltered area and outhouses.
A few preserved outbuildings to take a look in.
Great staff and a great 4 hours. Dress warm in October!

What a surprise to find such a beautiful,well stocked, amazing little museum in the heart of Northern Canada!
If you are going to Thompson, Manitoba, plan on staying a couple of days, as you will not be able to see the entire museum in just one visit.
The cool gift shop, and helpful staff make this a must see attraction for all visitors to Thompson, Manitoba. Tours are available.
