First let me say, the door works well. However, we had many problems during our experience. Firstly, our door is not a standard size, so finding a solution was challenging, and they did a good job with that, it looks good. However, it was a long time to get to the point of ordering, so it added several weeks to the process, which we were assured would take 6-8 weeks. Next the door arrived, but was damaged at the wearhouse, so they had to order a new one (ok, but it would have been nice if they had explained to us why it was taking months longer than they had said, especially since I did call and inquire). Finally after about 14 weeks they came to install the door. I asked if they wanted a thick rug that I use in the utility room to put down to protect my hardwood floors and they said not to worry they had a drop cloth. Well, the floor has 3 significant gouges now. Also, the step in is awkward, and a bit of tripping hazzard and it would have been nice if they had done some more planning on how to fit the door with out a very high step in.

These guys are great ! Friendly and know their stuff. Price is very reasonable too.

A word to the wise from experience. To residence of Whitby, Port Hope and between If you need any furniture reupholstered do not choose SENSATIONAL SEAMS BY WILMA In Newcastle as there is a very good chance she may screw it up. Wilma came to my place to look at reupholstering my chesterfield Jan 26/18. She had specific instructions of what I wanted done. The main one was the back pillows were to be high enough for my head to be on when sitting on the chesterfield. She could not properly relay the message to the third party who was actually doing the work. When the chesterfield was brought back the pillows were 5 inches to short. She tried to tell me if they were higher they would be too close to the picture above the chesterfield. I guess SENSATIONAL SEAMS BY WILMA did not realize I could move the picture. She had the pillows picked up and had a round pillow sewed on top of the back pillows and they hung down like a limp ****. She then took the pillows back and hadt more stuffing in the small pillows. That did not work. She took off the small pillows and remade the big pillows the right height but was to put a dip part way up the pillow to break up the lines in the pillow. I paid her as I was afraid if she took the pillows again she would screw them up even more. I am suggesting STAY AWAY SENSATIONAL SEAMS BY WILMA. I talked to an upholsterer in Oshawa and his price was way cheaper because there was no middle person to screw it up and make good money just to relay unreliable information. I got chesterfield back march 17/18. Got pillows back Apr 17/18. The pillows are still not right and she won’t fix them. The upholsterer did a great job even though he was given false information by WILMA AT SENSATIONAL SEAMS.

Had a wonderful experience. Great staff who fixed my window in record time, pickup went flawless and is competitively priced. Highly recommend.

Excellent service on the install of a custom patio door. It took a while for the door to come in but once it arrived the install was very timely. Mark had everything cleaned up and all the garbage was trucked away. I don't expect anything to go wrong but I was left with the impression that if there ever was a problem all I have to do is call him. Overall Very Satisfied!

Really great service! I brought my window in for repair prior to sale of my home. I realized when I went back to get the window installed on the frame that the screen was damaged. They repaired the screen at the same time and had it ready in 15 minutes along with the window.

Hired this company to build a covered patio with cedar wood panels. They did the cedar wood panels all crooked, then when asked to come fix they came back 9 months later and just glued more cedar on top....they quit half way through the repair when boards were not done nicely, demanded that I pay the balance in full and sign a quality waiver- which I refused so now they won’t finish the repair or refund me. Would never consider or recommend this company to anyone after this terrible experience and after being treated this way

Just had our car repaired at Dixon Collision.The owner Dave was very helpful and took care of any questions we had regarding our insurance. Our car was done in a timely manner and it looks awesome.
