I drove out of my way to come here. LOVE the winery and all things in Amana!! Ackerman has the BEST wine out there!! I live 250 miles away and STILL will come here occasionally because it is so fabulous! I have visited Amana since I was very young on road trips with my parents and my dad started us going to the winery in Amana. With him it was always BlackBerry, and that is not my favorite but the memories it brings up warm my heart and soul. Ackerman provides samples.of each wine that you want to try. And, I must confess, I usually try the ones I'm interested in of course, but always sneak a sample of the BlackBerry for those memories. My dad has been gone since 1992 and it is so amazing to toast him and remember. They are reasonably priced too! AND have a box special where you can purchase bottles in a box and save even more over their already reasonable price! Now dont fo thinking this is 3.00 a bottle cheap. No it is not. BUT for quality wine with amazing bouquet and all around fantastic staff, Ackerman is hands down the best I have found. And just for reference for you, there are 4 wineries within 50 miles of.my home. I still prefer a road trip to Ackerman! Amana has wonderful shops all around! And I will be at every one before I leave town, but my first and last stop of the visit is ALWAYS Ackerman winery!!

I love this place, first time here, but whenever in Nashville I will catch a show, great venue. Food good, service good. Very pleased.

Very cute winery. Clean and great atmosphere plus they also have a food menu. We went to Mystery Cave then stopped here after for wine tasting and food. Only downfall was our waitress was very slow and hardly checked in on us (I wanted to order wine and more food). It wasn’t busy so there wasn’t a reason she should be so slow. Also the food wasn’t great and lacked flavor.

My friend/coworker and I went for the very first time on Mother’s Day this year and we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and most of all the wine. We definately go again.

Second stop on a day trip from the Twin Cities and by far the best. Nestled among the forests of Wisconsin this is a relaxing & peaceful place. Took our tasting outside to enjoy the day & some live music. The employees/owners where very welcoming and friendly.

Very accommodating customer service. Convenient evening bottling schedule is great for those people who work during the day. Very informative for those who brew and bottle at home. For those people who haven't tried their brewing service, it is very convenient and if you buy the best kits you get wine that is comparable to wines you would normally pay $15 to $18 per bottle at a price that is much much less.

Great place for easy wine making. Service is super helpful which makes things a lot simpler with less hassle. They have a decent variety of kits to choose from. Modern equipment make for an easy bottling process. Very good place to start your wine collection.

We made wine here a few times. Clean little place. It has a label maker so you can label your own wine. It's only big enough for 1 group to bottle their wine at a time though.

Wonderful tasting wine. Very knowledgeable about wines. Good tasting snack items to go with the wine.
