Beautiful experience at Goldstream Estuary. Had a brilliant tour and gained in-depth knowledge on salmon and their life cycle, the need for a hatchery at the domestic and global level. A tour through Goldstream Estuary also gave insight to the mechanisms required for the ecosystem.

Good experience

Horrible union with seemingly no power to help their members, only hurt them. I can't negotiate my wage, and when I do get an increase from my employer, the union tries to block it. The executive committee is seemingly made up of delusional individuals on a power trip. It is impossible to call and talk to someone because nobody picks up the phone (I have never, at any point in my career, called and had an actual person pick up). If you are considering a position that uses this union, look for another position.

My experience with them has been fantastic they helped through the process as it is a dire situation. Thank you Tony, Nancy and Daryl taking the time out of your hectic schedules to call me so fast to walk me through the process. Unfortunately my situation is a lost cause and I will be moving out after I find rental place. God bless you.
