I never post a review but I have never been so disappointed with a nail salons quality & customer service. Last week I stopped by Galaxy Nail Salon in WC to have my ANC/dip removed and then have a basic mani/pedi - I saw it was rated well. First I was upsold on a pedi for $55 (although I asked for regular) but I accepted it because the woman who did my mani/pedi did a good job with the massage on my legs + it included a green tea mask. However, the manicure was the WORST I've ever received. Within one day it started chipping and by day 2 it was horrid. I was embarrassed at work with how bad my nails looked. The quality of the polish was AWFUL. As she painted the nails, the polish looked old, but she said I just needed a top coat. I called the salon to get a refund for the manicure only (I had paid $95 total for my service, including tip) and was told I had to text photo evidence of my receipt, the nails and my face (because I wasn't going to drive an hour back to WC in rush hour) to a phone #. I did all this and was then told that the woman would "speak to the owner" and get back to me about the refund. I called everyday for the last few days (at least 5x) and every day someone tells me the owner will call me back and that they don't know when she will be in. I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of the nails and the lack of accountability by the owner of the Salon trying to "ignore" the problem. The lady who did my nails was sweet, but otherwise this was a terrible experience for me. They clearly do NOT care about their customers or quality. Suggest AVOIDING this salon. Day #1 and Day #2 pictures.

Getting an appointment was easy and I didn’t have to wait. However I found the experience lacking for the price. They were Very distracted. Would file a few nails, get up, go to the back, do something, come back do polish, get up again and so on. The polish itself doesn’t go all the way to the side of my nails. Since I got gel, I thought she would get that side on a later coat. She did not. I pointed it out but she didn’t seem to care and tried to tell me that was normal for gel. While the salon is pretty and clean, I feel like you could get better value for your money.
