Overcharged

You can only schedule nail appointments online and I accidentally scheduled my nail appointment on the wrong date, so unintentionally missed that appointment. I received a text notification that I was charged in full for the missed appointment (just a couple hours earlier). I called to explain my mistake and they would not allow me to come in at a later time or give any sort of discount to reschedule an appointment. Nails are expensive, so it's a lot to spend for a mistaken appointment! Unfortunately they didn't have understanding and now have lost me as a customer.

I love the 18k nail Boutique. I had problem nails, but that changed after going there for a few months. Katie does the best dip powder manicures that last me 3 weeks and my nails are so much stronger. On top of that the inside design of 18k nails is so beautiful. It's so relaxing to go there, have a sip of wine and be pampered. Thank you 18k!

I heard about this place from a client and I’m so happy I went! Kenny did my dip powder manicure and it is perfect! Such a pleasant environment to be in. Super clean and relaxed. Definitely my new spot

I have to say that I’ve never been super impressed with any of the Santa Monica nail salons. You get spotty results at best, sometimes good sometimes bad. So I was excited to try this new salon and have been pleasantly surprised. First off the salon is beautiful and clean. I’ve been 3 times and worked with all 3 employees and had a great experience with all. This last time I tried the dip, which I’d heard mixed reviews about, as it can be thick and not look great. But they did a GREAT job on my thin nails and I’m excited to have it last for several weeks and it continues to look fantastic. I really hope this salon survives the pandemic as it’s a cut above. Pro tip: make a reservation as they’re growing /have a small staff and it may be hard to just walk in at certain times without a wait.

This place is extremely clean and well organized, I've never seen a nail salon as impressive as this one. I get my nails done regularly and I've tried multiple places so far due due varying circumstances however I believe my nail journey has come to an end. 18k will be my go to nail salon from here on out. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them! All the staff there seem very well trained and happy to help at all times! The environment is very spacious and everything overall is extremely welcoming. Definitely give it a try!

It is absolutely the most beautiful nail salon that I have been to. Everything is so nice and super clean. I got the dipping powder manicure which I really love because I can tell my nails get stronger and harder. I love it. I definitely come back to try their pedicure.
