This is my to-go location for spirits and liqueurs. I’m yet to not find the liquor I’ve been looking for and then some. Floor staff will easily point you towards what you are looking for if you ask. Their wine selection is a little bit rustic thought.

Great selection. Clean easily accessible layout. Great warehouse prices and helpful staff. Would be 5 stars except the cashiers with every experience seem like they'd rather be literally anywhere else.

This is more than a neighborhood wine shop. The variety and selection are beyond comparison to anything I've experienced in Manhattan. Find everything your guests will expect at PJ Wine. Also introduce them to special somethings you discovered here, in a box or on a shelf or rack. There are occasional tastings and promotions but no hype. Summer weekends and the lead up to holidays the store can get quite busy. There are always staff restocking shelves and assisting the vertically challenged. Be assured, there are many check out registers and the line, if one has formed, is moving too fast to step away and add one more thing to your basket/cart. I recommend this shop to friends and strangers alike but my endorsement comes with a caveat, the cashiers. From on high, they are bored and lacking good humor. Rarely smiling or acknowledging customers, perhaps they are teetotalers.

A great time to spend when looking for imports and that exclusive piece to add to your bar. I love their prices, and their specials, I hate the fact that I actually moved to Brooklyn, and left the west side...because I no longer have the option of PJ when I need it. The staff is always helpful and kind to their patrons. I always appreciate the younger folks, getting hired at the establishment and given opportunities to work, and establish themselves in life. The hours are great, and if you need a batch of spirits for an event, it's a win....you won't find a greater deal in the City, hands down!!!! What I do love most, is that you can find those hard to find and rare bottles at PJ!!!!!

There is a huge selection of wines and spirits at nice prices available. If your choice is on a shelf that's too high help is readily available. It's worth the trip from downtown Manhattan to Inwood.
