Good people, good prices . Some people say it's a dive bar, but it's much better than that.

Man, what a cool concept this place is. I know it's not new, and certainly not the only place that has done it, but it's the only place in the area I know of that's a bar/liquor store combo. And normally I would expect a place like that to be pretty dingy, but Cardinal is actually really clean! I mean, it smells GOOD as you're sitting there at the bar. I come here sometimes to watch sports, and half of the time I'm just enjoying watching the regulars. The bartender, Bob, seems gruff at first but is actually pretty funny and friendly. Don't take him seriously if he hassles you about creating more dishes for him to clean! Once done at the bar, I love walking through the store part and picking from their good selection. You can even pay your bar tab along with your store purchase! So yeah, the downside is the atmosphere is a little cold, and it’s not very cozy. I doubt anyone would want to hang out long term in here. It’s bright and there’s no food. This place may not be for everyone, but it's hard to go wrong here.

This is the neighborhood liquor store where you know they have just about everything! There is also a beer tap attached to the store which makes it very convenient to have a beer and take a six-pack home with you. For a Valentine's drink I suggest you get some Boodles gin, some Schweppes tonic water and mix up a nice gin and tonic, then top it off with a shot of limoncello! Yum!

I'd give 10 stars if i could. This store does it right. All employees wear mask, helpful staff, polite, clean & have a huge selections. I'm an essential worker and going to the store can be tough. Great hours, safe parking & best experience
