We have been devoted patients of Dr. Steve for over 17 years now. I think that pretty much says it all! Our children, when they were young (they're all adults now), were always put at ease and made to feel very comfortable by the entire staff. We have always found Roberta, Joanne, Jan, Dana, Deanna, Coleen, Danya and, of course, Dr. Steve, to be thorough, efficient, pleasant, good-humored and professional in all respects. We are always warmed by how each staff member remembers details of conversations from 6 months earlier (I wish I could!). Four years ago we sold our home and considered moving to South Surrey. Truthfully, our relationship with Dr. Steve and his well-chosen staff were one reason we decided to stay in Walnut Grove. We could not be happier with the care and the support services - thank you, Tschach Crew!

Went to Dr. Tschach only twice. Once to get my teeth cleaned and once for him to check out a sore tooth. The cleaning was neither here nor there. But when I went to get my sore tooth checked, there was some miscommunication or something and Dr. Tschach started working on the wrong tooth. I informed him it was my other tooth and sighed and slammed his clipboard down on the countertop. I asked him if I was putting him out by telling him about which tooth hurt and he said I was. So I told him I would make it easier for him by leaving and I got up out of the chair and told the receptionist as I was passing by that I wouldn't be back. Neither of them tried to stop me or apologize. We all have bad days and I know dentistry is a stressful job, but you just can't treat your patients like that. If you do, you need to retire or look for a new career.

My family have been patients of Dr. Tschach for 10 years. I love this office so much. I worked in the dental industry and didn't change offices to the one I worked at because I love and respect the work he does. The ladies at the front are always kind, friendly and make us feel welcomed. I am sorry the other reviewer wasn't happy with their experience, however I would encourage anyone to not dismiss this office based on that one person's experience, my experience has been 100% the opposite and when I popped on to the website to get some info and saw that review it bothered me. I thought it was important to give another opinion.

Very poorly run office. 1. One receptionist in particular is not detail oriented so information was not being passed onto me about my daughters dental work needed prior to me leaving the office. And this was on our VERY FIRST APPOINTMENT with this dentist! My daughter had THREE cavities and nobody informed me of this until my daughter told me after our appointments were all said and done. I contacted THEM to ask about her cavities and why nobody at the front desk even mentioned it to me on my way out the door so I could book a follow up appointment. When I called to ask them about it they said the file was not put in the right spot where they make follow-up calls and that is why they didn't contact me! What?! 2. Also, their website says that they open at 8am and I tried for half hour straight (from 8am-8:30am) to cancel an apt my daughter got sick for so they would be able to call in a cancellation request. Upon arriving for my 8:30am apt I see the same receptionist just listening to voicemails and not picking up incoming calls. Upon asking the receptionist she said "well we don't open until 8:30am". I informed her of the hours on the website and she just seem put off. I don't think she liked me mentioning what had happened to my hygienist because she made a point of coming around the corner to comment about it. 3. Personality of front receptionist (one in particular, older one) not friendly and welcoming which is super important when clients are coming in for a medical procedure (even at the dentist). Myself and my daughters only visited this dentist office for one year and after this one year I come to find that the receptionist had complained to the dentist (obviously every time I had an apt) that she didn't like the fact that I had CALLED THEM OUT on each of these issues I had been having with them. Upon arriving for an apt I had booked for both myself and my daughter that particular receptionist informed me that they had sent me a letter cancelling me as their patient!! This women obviously can not handle criticism on what I had issues with. And trust me I had a few. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT use Dr. Tschach for your dental needs.

Absolutely fantastic staff. I am new to the area and the entire team made me feel very comfortable and I am very happy that I have now found my new dentist for years to come.
