First impressions GREAT! I recently moved to Maple Ridge and have been looking for a new dental office. Ive checked out a few already to get a feel for it, but a friend of mine who is a patient at Mellow and recommended the office to me saying Dr. Makhani is incredibly knowledgeable, great with kids, and does fantastic work. So when I was in the area I decided to check this clinic out. Not only was it nice and clean and inviting, but the receptionists were incredibly friendly, chatty, and were able to answer all my questions in order to set up a family dental appointment and explained direct billing etc. I feel that my family will be very comfortable coming to this office. So once I come back from my family summer vacation I will definitely be booking there.

As someone who had neglected their dental health for 16 years, Mellow Family Dental brought me up to date and back to health in the smoothest way possible. The staff are very friendly, humourous and light-hearted. I suffer from anxiety, and they did a wonderful job at talking me through the whole experience. I plan to bring my whole family there for care. The receptionist worked with my dental plan to save me money and to utilize my plan best. Definitely the most comfortable place to be to get maybe some uncomfortable stuff fixed.

Dr. Makani is nice but this is a dental clinic to go to for simple dentistry. I gave it 3 stars only because Dr. Makhani did a favour by replacing an ill-fitting partial that I had done there months earlier. I had wanted a bridge initially but was told that it would be time consuming, expensive and involve possible surgery and not a good idea. I still found the second partial uncomfortable but it was better than the first one - and the staff could be friendlier. This really was a time and money waster, not to mention the stress of having the partials that I could not get used to. Anyway, I landed up going to another dentist because I still was not happy with the fit of the partial. My new dentist asked me why I didn't have a bridge done. (!!) So I explained.....long story short, he made me a fixed bridge in two visits! , no surgery and I have had it now for over a year and I forget that it is even there. Not complicated. The staff at the new dental clinic are warm and welcoming and Dr.Smit at Meadowvale Dental is a true gem!

Dr. Makhani is very knowledgeable and the name itself represents her work. She has very gentle hands. I did my Implants at her clinic. She and the specialist worked collaboratively. Awesome work. The office has very modern technology. Staff is also very cooperative. Hygienist is amazing. A complete dental office in lower mainland. U will never go wrong.

Very bad experience today that made me cry ! She doesn't take the responsibility of her job she just wants to work on teeth not bad and probably cosmetic .if you are not expert enough you have to say to your patients honestly that they can decide properly. waste of time and money to go .Very bad behaviour. She turned me out of her office because I was complaining about the tooth she had filled last month and it is still painful even worse!!!The only thing she thinks about is money!!! Never go back there and not recommended at all.
