Had a follow up appointment today, at my request due to my persistent anxiety and worry. Once again, Dr. A took time out of his busy day to reassure me and explain exactly why he isn't concerned. Even though I had all the same questions and concerns that I had not even a week ago, Dr. A patiently answered them yet again, and gave me another exam. I can't help my need for medical assurance as it I part of my severe anxiety disorder, and I am constantly searching for answers and have a hard time believing and accepting that I am not dying. Dr. A is very intelligent and he seems to have an excellent understanding of patient anxiety. If you have any kind of anxiety related to oral issues, this is the dentist you want. He is experienced and extremely knowledgable and has so much compassion and empathy and he will always take the time to explain everything to you. Many doctors and my previous dentist were very dismissive of me, but Dr. A never made me feel judged, uncomfortable or annoying. I felt so cared for by his entire staff as well- Valerie is one of the nicest receptionists I've ever met, she told me to call her if I had any fears or concerns between appointments, and the hygienist, Stephanie, was very kind. This dentist clearly places a great deal of thought and care on whom he chooses for his staff. Dr. A even told me that instead of making another appointment if I feel scared between appointments, to just call him and that he will make time to reassure me and answer my questions. How many dentists do you think say that to their patients? I've never heard of it happening. This dentist and his staff are rare gems and I can't stress it enough. I don't mean to ramble, but good health care is important to me and when I receive such outstanding care I feel I need to scream it from the rooftops. Dr. Aliakbari is the best dentist I've ever seen, not only in his knowledge, expertise and skills, but also his commitment to his work and his patients, and his bedside manner and respect for those in his chair.

Just had my dental implants done. I got my smile back. I love it. Will definitely recommend Dr. Aliakbari. I'm planning to do some more cosmetic dentistry in this clinic.

I am so glad I made the switch to Dr. Aliakbari. He is intelligent and very diligent while maintaining a very friendly disposition - he does everything with a genuine smile - and he possesses a deep understanding of how to talk to patients with anxiety, and how to make them feel calm in his chair. I had the most amazing experience Iâ€™ve ever had with a dentist thanks to Dr. A. My previous dentist was cold and unempathetic, but Dr. A is the exact opposite. He is calm, kind, patient, and REALLY listened to my concerns. He did not make me feel I was crazy, or like I was being blown off, he took me seriously and made sure to tell me that taking his patients seriously is very important to him. He took a great deal of time ensuring a thorough exam and his knowledge blew me away. He went to great lengths to assure me that what I was worried about was not worriesome to him and he made me feel important and valued. He didnâ€™t rush me at all and throughout the visit it was very evident that this man deeply loves his work. I trust him wholeheartedly and am so glad I switched dentists. He mentioned medical terms and identified issues where my previous dentist just waved it off as â€œfineâ€ or â€œnormalâ€. I actually felt I LEARNED many things from Dr. A, because he said so many things worth listening to. I feel I am in very good hands as he is an incredibly thorough, very kind dentist with a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for his work. He is not one of those money hungry or greedy dentists, he really enjoys what he does and has a passion for helping people through improving their dental health. His staff are all incredible as well. The receptionist and hygienist were very sweet. I once had a huge fear of the dentist but thanks to this man, that fear has dissipated. My experience was exceptional from start to finish. Iâ€™m proud to call Dr. A my densit.

Dr. Cyrus Aliakbari is an excellent dentist. I highly recommend him.He also continues to keep ahead of developments in dentistry by his involvements as a part-time clinical instructor with UBC dental school since 2011. Dr. Aliakbari is also a member of the Canadian and BC dental associations and holds a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 2010.I received a beautiful new tooth. The cost was great ,and it works beautifully.

Dr Aliakabri has been taking care of my teeth for 10 years now. My teeth are in great condition thanks to him and his great staff, specially Laila, my kind dental hygienist. She patiently works on my teeth and guides me to have healthier gum and oral hygiene.
