I usually find it very hard to get to the dentist as I have a fear of dental procedures. My first experience with Chinook Smiles was when my partner went here to get his wisdom teeth removed. I was so pleased by the amazing service and care given to him by the Chinook team that I immediately moved to them also. The team at Chinook are all amazing and very friendly and supportive with anxious patients. The quality of care received at Chinook is a very high standard and all staff genuinely care about their patients which is awesome! Thanks for being so amazing Chinook Smiles!

Over the past two days have been a bit of a rollercoaster ride regarding my mouth. I woke up in the middle of the night in agony cause of my tooth. I quickly and desperately googled the closest place I could go regarding my mouth. I sent them a message at 5:00 am. I received a call at 7:30 that morning to get me in for 11:30. Now, I am have not had the best experiences with the dentist in the past, but overall everyone was being quite kind my entire time there. They were understanding of my uneasiness and even didn't make me feel guilty that it had been awhile since I was able to go to the dentist. Whereas in comparison to other dentist offices I would often be shamed. I was even given options regarding how to handle my tooth as well as looking at financial options to ensure everything would work well with my insurance. I am forever grateful for them getting me in as quickly as they did and I feel as though this may be my new dentist due to the care and concern that they had for me, a complete stranger to their office.

Went in this past weekend with my two children, ages 11 and 8. My youngest has bad anxiety and was very scared. They were extremely friendly, talked the nerves out of them, and joked and took an interest in their lives. My kids were both relieved at the end and said they loved it. They were extremely thorough in all the procedures, explaining how everything works and showing them their xrays. They created a knowledge base that my kids asked more on after we got home. The prices are on the lower side which is a plus for a parent! And they direct bill and set everything up ahead of time, and can even set up financial payments if needed. I will be recommending it to all my friends and family!

I am really apprehensive about going to the dentist. Dr. Lisa Mallett was fantastic and made me very comfortable. She did great work and personally followed up the next day. I won't be going anywhere else.

THE BEST. I have had a massive amount of work done with Dr. Mallett, with and without sedation. As someone who loses sleep even thinking about booking a dental appointment I have never felt anywhere close to this comfortable at a dentist before. Dr. Mallett often calls personally to check up and, although I can only assume they make everyone feel this way, she and her whole staff have me convinced that they really like me! Recently I was sure I was going to need a root canal (Dr. Mallett worked her magic and turns out I don't!) and I was thinking I could do it here without sedation...thankfully I didn't have to prove anything, but the fact that it was an option in my mind speaks volumes about this place! I would highly recommend.
