Dr. Doug (or was it Duck?) was very helpful when we called about an emergency dental situation. I wish we were close enough to see her. She was very polite and knowledgeable and I would like to thank her for her time and information.

After having a somewhat challenging experience, I was rather pleased when Maria the general manager sought to take corrective measures and showed us some compassion and understanding. The lesson here? We are not above making mistakes but its how we deal with it that really tells the kind of person we are. Thanks again.

My first day was yesterday, I was leaving from bad dental experiences at my old dental office. The specific lady that was cleaning my teach actually cared about my life and as well my dental health. It was almost like laying down speaking to a therapist while at the same time getting your teeth cleaned. The receptionist are so sweet and the dentist sat down and explained the next steps so properly to me. I really love the team here. If you are looking for dentist who care about you, GO HERE!! :)

Worst 3 year experience with a business. I heard about Sterling Dental when it opened up in Georgetown three years ago. Having only 2 orthodontists in a small town, I decided to give this clinic a try after reading that they offered orthodontics and was open Monday through Saturday – which wasn’t the case. Braces appts were only done 2 days of the week (Friday & Saturday). After I began my treatment, I was told that they were only going to be doing ortho appointments at their Bramalea location. This meant I had to drive over 30 mins each time I had my braces adjusted. This worked out to about 1 time a month; not including the last min appts for broken brackets. I started my treatment with an orthodontist and after a year of seeing him, he was changed without an explanation as to why. My new orthodontist had a different treatment plan than the original, which delayed my treatment time further. I have also had my payment receipts misplaced during my time with this clinic (eventually resolved). In my last year of my treatment, the orthodontist eventually started travelling to different sterling dental locations which allowed me to have some of my appts in Georgetown – but would only be available one weekend each month. Finally, I scheduled an appt with the receptionist in Georgetown to have my braces removed for May 4th at the Brampton location (which I specifically chose so I could have them removed earlier in the month). I was even given a card that she wrote with confirmation of the date. I show up to my “scheduled” appt May 4th to have my braces removed and was told my appt wasn’t scheduled until May 17th. From day one this clinic was trouble and if I hadn’t made my payments early on, I would have changed clinics immediately. This business is so unorganized, needs better management, and communication. I am so dissatisfied especially after being so excited to have my braces removed on the date agreed upon. Do your research and find yourself a reputable clinic.
