As long term residents of Guelph, we had to look for a new dentist after our dentist moved elsewhere. Talking to a number of friends and checking on the reviews (which can be quite unreliable) we signed up with Dr. Raco., with whom we have been for some 4 years. We are very happy with that choice. Here is why. He will take whatever time it takes to get things just right. Informative, will let you know why he does what he does and what the alternatives would be. Excellent hands, takes great care to minimize discomfort. Up-to-date equipment. We get the impression that this is a happy outfit altogether: very efficient front office , great communication between Dr. Raco and his assistant, thorough and effective dental hygienists. We had thought that when we lost our our previous dentist, he would be impossible to replace. Well, the impossible happened! Since being with Dr. Raco, we have recommended him to several of our friends and their experience has been similar to ours.

We moved to Guelph a year ago and I decided on Dr. Raco based on excellent reviews on a Rate your doctor site. This has been a good decision. Lynne of their office always phones to remind me of appointments. The staff are friendly and very punctual to start appointments. There's lots of free parking right out front. I have had three teeth re-filled and all went well. Dr. Raco does a great job in ensuring that the needle for the anesthetic produces minimal pain. He makes sure that the fillings are nice and smooth and level with the top of the tooth. All in all, I feel very confident in his abilities. My previous dentist in another city was much more chatty and talked throughout the procedure, chatting to keep my mind off it. That was very useful while I was still not comfortable with a lot of dentistry but I really don't need that any longer. The hygienist Jen does a great job of cleaning my teeth and provides useful advice re: toothpaste, flossing and dental picks. Bottom Line: A solid, capable experienced dental team who do the work in a professional manner.T

I have been a patient of Dr. Raco since the early 1990's. I absolutely love the staff who are thorough and have been kind with me. I always get a reminder call and I appreciate that extra service. Dr. Raco has been open and transparent about his treatment plan and discusses reasonable alternatives. I have NEVER had a better dental service.

I was not a patient yet and had a broken tooth and they accommodated me immediately on the same day to help me out. That's service!
