I can attest that the Royal College of Dental Surgeons ALWAYS takes the dentist's side. The first dentist I had a complaint about received just a slap on the wrist for egregious behaviour, and the last one did not even get a slap on the wrist. A totally, useless biased organization.

I will update to 5 stars once my investigation has been complete, if it will ever be complete. The investigation has been ongoing since last summer in 2018. Until then King St Dental will not get a dime from me! AVOID King St Dental in Hamilton. Their address is 870 King St W, Hamilton, ON L8S 1K3. These people pulled a wisdom tooth when that's all I requested of them! Instead they do extra work on another tooth making the bill come to around 708$!!! I am at a new dentist trying to get my xray records so I don't have to pay for another set to be done, but King St Dental straight up lied about there not being any at all!!!! How can there not be xrays when I had my tooth removed?? Idiots!

my complaint is currently being investigated. it is very disheartening to read the reviews that this supposed professional College has defending the public. I hope I will be able to write a positive 5 star review after the investigation is complete. Unfortunately with mistrust in the system comes a phenomenal income lost to practicing dentists as the general public will stay clear whenever possible. As myself and my partner are both employed in health care, accountability is paramount. I will definately be updating my experience with RCDS here! called for an update to RCDS, PLP, EXACT same reply given as 3 months ago, saying dental reports in and reviewing, maybe hear back in a month (again!)

I'm Pursuing a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT vs RCDSO Complaints I lodged vs 2 Ottawa Dentistry Practitioners, were handled by the RCDSO in a GROSSLY FRAUDULENT Prolonged COMRADELY SHAM! The RCDSO Panel ACTUALLY COVERED UP multiple counts of OBVIOUS MALPRACTICE! PS: My RCDSO Cases + Proven Dentistry Ethics Expertise are now viewable in exponential detail at my Premium LinkedIn Profile

I had 3 root canals done by Kevin Calzonetti, I lost 2 of the teeth in about 2 years. I was told to remove the 3rd tooth now. I eat very soft food all the time, the tooth probably has been infected long time ago, I found this out because I went to check my other tooth. I filed a complaint to the college after I lost the 2 teeth. I lost the case, they don’t make judgments based on the fact, and I felt they don’t actually have any knowledge about dental Procedures. I am too young to lose 3 theeth. I NEED HELP for my teeth, I had one implant done and every time I eat, it hurts my gum badly, it wasn’t done right either, I thought Canada has better technology than where I was from, otherwise, I wouldn’t let anyone touch my teeth. I don’t think my teeth were infected before the root canals done. I trusted the so called “specialist”. The dentist is still in practice. I hope not many people have suffered what I have suffered.

I am a dentist practicing in Ontario since 2005. To date I have had several communications with various people at the RCDSO, mainly for questions reading regulation of the practice of dentistry, as well as continuous education, and the quality assurance program. Any person who has spoken to me has always been courteous, very helpful, as well as very patient, even in matters where that required several attempts on their part before it was clearly understood. I can only give a perfect grade to such an organisation.
