Very shocking service. My wife was referred to Doctor Lyons for a tooth removal because she wanted to be completely sedated. Routine procedure. Covered by our insurance. They put her on the table ready to go and seconds before the procedure they try to get her to sign off on all this extra cow bone implant! She asked if they would let me come into the surgery room and When I went in to try and understand what was going on, the nurse, treating me like an idiot, was incredibly condescending and pushy. When I asked questions about added costs and the procedure she asked, “How much do you know about implants?†Implying that I should shut up, stop asking questions and wanting me to sign off on an $800 bill that is supposed to be %100 covered by our insurance. I spoke with another nurse there who explained that we DON’T need cow’s bone. It’s only the Doctor’s preference. We walked out and within two hours had her tooth removed from our regular dentist at no charge to us. After explaining the situation that happened with the oral surgeon, our dentist told us the cow bone implant is nothing but a money grab. I will NEVER deal with Dr Lyons again. I advise anyone to go elsewhere if possible. They should not put someone in this position seconds before a procedure like this.

Great experience, professional and courteous, no problems after surgery. 2 of my kids already had their wisdom teeth done by Dr. Lyons and now time for number 3.

I had my teeth removed by Dr. Lyons a year ago. He was very kind to talk to, his nurse was the sweetest woman and I thought I was in good hands. I woke up early out of anesthetic to see my teeth and two very large pieces of my jaw bone sitting on the tray in front of me. I could hear the nurse quite upset with Dr. Lyons and asking him why he did this, than once she realized I was awake she quickly removed the tray and put me back out. When I followed up with my dentist he was shocked. The left side of my face is sunk in from the peices of my jaw bone he ruthlessly broke off. It was supposed to be a routine tooth extraction. There was no mention at any time of complications. This man is a sadistic butcher! I returned to his office to ask why he did this to me and he screamed at me to leave his office. The staff is so kind and apologetic, but doesnt justify the actions of a very sick man! He saves the teeth he extracts in a very large vase of fluid in his office?? I was shocked seeing this. I wonder if my jaw bones are saved in that massive vase of teeth?? Please if you have a referal to have your teeth extracted please seek a different sergion. I'm sure if hes busted my jaw that he has probably done this to others. I sure hope this review helps save someone from going through the horrable torture I sustained.
