Gentek garden patio door and windows were ordered from Daro Vinyl. Installed May 2022. Daro Vinyl informed of hole at base of door. Multiple appointments to "fix" door - attach foam, still hole etc. A rude "Gentek" employee installed weatherstripping on back of screen door. Stated I was just being fussy about appearances. I contacted Gentek about the door and their employee. Found out not a Gentek door and not their employee. Daro Vinyl then states it is a Canada Windows and Doors product and their employee. Canada Windows and Doors does not answer. Door does not have any manufacturer on it. Daro Vinyl then orders Gentek door. I wanted to know name of the employee/qualifications/company coming in my home. Suddenly, there is no one to install. Roy Gareau lied numerous times and I am left with door with leak. Previous 30+ year old door was better than this junk. Invoice needs to state manufacturer and keep all emails. They make work through Home Depot etc. Go anywhere but here.

Daro replaced our windows about a year ago. The triple pane windows they suggested worked great and the install was very professional. This winter is definitely more comfortable and less drafty.

Had a whole home renovation done in 2014-2015 and contracted Daro to do most of the work. All new windows. Removed Mansour roof, re-shingle whole roof, board and batten, and siding. Remove old fireplace chimney. Add pass through garage door to back yard. Multi level composite decks with walk out from master bedroom. Etc. This summer (2019) our roof leaked pretty badly in the lower split level of the house. Damaging a large section of our ceiling drywall, and staining our sofa and cushions. Also noticed that the seal in our masted bedroom walk out door was broken and we were getting mildew between the glass. Called Daro about possible warranty and they came out the next day to inspect the issues. Altho our roof shingling work warranty had expired Daro replaced the shingles on the roof, due to poor install workmanship, and also changed out the window with the broken seal in our master bedroom, no questions asked. Sadly, however, they didn't repair the damage to the ceiling drywall. 🙄😔 We bought a second home on the north shore of Huron on Manitoulin Island and hoping that Daro will work out this way as we're seriously considering hiring them again in the future.

23/09/2019 Although Daro Vinyl Products were slightly higher in price than a few other contractors, l found them profession, reliable and very efficient as they completed everything on time. So far, their work looks great and worth it.

I recently had my roof and siding done by Daro Vinyl Products and I just want to quickly say how pleased we are. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and Roy was awesome to deal with. His staff was always there to address my questions. The job was done during the winter season and as soon as the snow was gone they were here to clean up! Amazing work guys will definitely recommend you!
