Really fun experience white water rafting down the Ottawa River. The guides we're very knowledgeable and experienced and made us always feel safe while we were on our adventure. Highly recommended this tour group

Had a great 2 day trip rafting. Chris R aka Skeletor, was a friendly, knowledgeable guide when we were on the 12 man boats. The 6 man guide your own gave us a great chance to get out feet wet and run some easier rapids with some guidance

Summer Camp for Adults. User pays model. Our group had a fantastic time at the Wilderness Tours facility. We enjoyed camping in the field, floor hockey, a bon fire, single track mountain biking and of course white water rafting. The staff continuously went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, particularly Katie at the front desk who helped us navigate some of our trickier logistical concerns, and Collin our river guide who was an absolute beauty.

TL;DR: 2 hours is not a "full day of rafting" Friday, June 7th was our "Classic High Adventure Day Trip" that I booked in early May. According to the website, this is a "Full day of rafting. 10:30am-5pm" and includes a BBQ lunch and each trip "is about four to six hours in length". My daughter's birthday gift of a "full day" of whitewater rafting only lasted 2 hours with not so much as an apology or explanation, so we feel like we have been ripped off. Even their less expensive afternoon trip is supposed to be "4-5 hours in length". I've taken the time to detail our experience to Wilderness Tours directly via email first, hoping they would make this right, but they did not reply. I will not be a returning customer and am warning others about this clear case of false advertising.

I'd give them 0 stars if possible. This is by far the worse managed company I have ever dealt with. I will never, ever do business again with Wilderness Tours and I will never recommend them to anyone. Poorly organized, rude, and heartless. My wife and I booked a rafting excursion with this company, and a couple of days before the tour a family member died. The funeral was on the same day as our tour, which meant we couldn't go rafting (obviously we would not miss a family funeral to go rafting). Despite a polite request for a refund, followed by less polite requests after our initial request was denied, we grew increasingly frustrated with the careless attitude management showed us. They even accusing us of making up the family death. I offered to provide them a death certificate, but they still refused to refund us our money.
