I had a periodontal (sp?) procedure done this morning. I read as much as I could online, but I was still terrified. Dr. Ames set my mind at ease when he sat down and explained in grave detail what he was going to be doing. His assistant is wonderful and encouraging, asking me about pain and discomfort. You have lost your mind if you don’t inquire with Dr. Ames with your dental concerns. I live in Alabama and gladly make the commute for his wisdom.

I'm going to start off saying that the staff at Vanderbilt were spectacular. They are well-trained and go way beyond in courtesy. Dr. Ames has placed a smile on my face that hasn't been there in 22 years. He is the most articulate and for precised dentist that I have ever come across. I went through a six month process for extensive work. When he creates a smile, it is a natural smile. Thank you, thank you Dr. Ames and your staff for giving me my smile back.

I just cannot say enough about Dr Ames, Rachel, and the rest of the staff at Vanderbilt Denistry. They have provided A+ care for my 13 year old son for 3 years, but today they went above and beyond. He fell on the playground at school, busting his lip and breaking his front tooth in half. Dr Ames called me within 5 minutes of calling his office. They were available within minutes (even though they were about to leave for the day), xrayed it, and fixed it within an hour...the new "tooth" an exact match of the broken one. My son's tears turned into smiles and the worry was erase from my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr Ames. You are simply the BEST!!
