It's a really beautiful place and people need to try to help keep it that way by all of us doing our part to help out. We are obligated to clean up after our own mess, but some amazing people will go farther and pick up any trash they see at all. God Bless those who are Willing to do the most work for FREE and get little to almost always NO credit.

I live here and it is amazing. Some things to keep in mind. Please keep your trash to yourself. Please drive respectfully and if you would like to just leisurely stroll down the road, use a turnout to allow regular traffic by. Respect the forest. It is not a place to run amuck and allow your children and yourself to destroy things simply because you won't be coming back. People and animals live here. We would like it to stay beautiful.

Oh how do I love Yosemite. I love parking then taking the shuttle all around the park. The museums are interesting with knowledgeable staff. There are a variety gift shops to fit every budget. The are also a great variety of dining options to fit every budget or bring your own from home.

Once in a lifetime experience! You could easily plan out a month vacation and have PLENTY to see and do! If you're going in the winter season, please plan ahead for snow. You'll at least need to carry tire chains to travel in some areas, as the especially steep grades in certain areas call for them (the park will post when needed). Avoid summer, as the tourists come in making navigating painfully slow. Plenty of hiking and sightseeing! Please make sure you wear comfortable, but especially warm attire. Check out Yosemite; in the winter, they close off a large portion of the park. Still, the Valley floor was open, along with Bridalveil Falls and Chilnualna.

Wonderful, love the scenery you just can't find anywhere else. The gift shops should stay open later than 3p the one at Edison close at 3p hard to get souvenirs of you are closed. The views are breathtaking. Get out and see nature the way God made it.
