Had my wisdom teeth removed. I brought the amount of money they told me to bring. One month later they served me papers saying I owed them more money and tried to take me to court over it.

After 12 years of hearing the dentist tell me twice a year that I should have my wisdom teeth removed, I finally did it with Doc Stearns. I am not a fan of needles, IVs, scalpels, blood, or anything that resembles a hospital. The staff did a great job putting me at ease through the procedure. I don't remember anything, thanks to the good Doctor, but judging from my recovery, I would say he did a good job. I would recommend his service to anyone.

I am very anxious about dentists and in particular surgery. I found this "Doctor" through a web search and becasue I am from Scottsdale (where he last practiced) and becasue there were no bad reviews (granted, only ONE good review. My bad.) I decided to have my wisdon teeth pulled by him. BIG MISTAKE. First off, this man is beyond arrogant and rude. When I mentioned my fear, he said " maybe you should just leave them in and have a screwed up mouth" and then laughed. REALLY?! This shold have been my notice to run but his nurse said he was "having a bad day" and I had already gone through the first screening. The surgery went as planned however after the teeth were removed I developed dry sockets with extreme pain. Stearns could not get me into his office for help for another 5 days. With no follow-up or help I had to go to another emergency dentist who asked who did the work and suggested I contact the office to be seen again ASAP. Although the new dentist put me back through surgery, Stearns never called back after repeated calls and I was left with an enormous bill. I am doing research as to his past history -why he has moved from state to state (4 states now) and any other claims. BE WARNED!!!
