I used to go here when Dr. Wilkins owned it and it was great. Once he sold it, things went downhill. Within 6 months they had hired a new dentist and then replaced her with somebody else. I heard that the new owner's plan was to buy up a bunch of offices and start a dental chain - not the type of place I was looking for. I like dental offices that are locally owned and not part of a big business. The only reason I stuck around was because of Jaime who was my hygienist - she was great. Once she left I decided to find someplace new. I'm also a little salty over a Google review I left previously that they took upon themselves to edit and then post on their website. However, once I requested they remove it I believe they did so.

We have been going to Family Implant Dentistry of Arvada since before it was owned by Dr. Pollack. I have seen 3 of their dentists, and all have been fantastic. You might end up with a different dentist (based on your appointment day/time) than you have seen in the past, but they will let you know when certain dentists have office hours, if you have a preference on who you would like to see. The hygienists are lovely, as well, but we end up having a different one each time. Family and Implant Dentistry of Arvada has hours that are accommodating for almost any schedule, early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Additionally, we find they are almost always punctual and make sure you start your appointment on time. The office staff is also very good about making sure you understand your pricing and work to get the best value from your insurance company. They even offer a discount for teachers! If they have openings in their schedule, they will often call and see if a different option is more accommodating for your schedule.

This is a long review, but it contains details I'd like to know, so I assume others would be interested as well. From the moment I called the practice and heard the enthusiasm and kindness in Kristin's voice, I felt comfortable. As the receptionist for the Arvada office that day, she was able to get me in earlier than expected for my appointment, which was important to me because I had lost a filling. When I exited the elevator, the reception desk was right there - no need to look for the correct suite number because the whole second floor of the building at 64th and Pike on the NW side houses the offices of Family & Implant Dentistry Arvada. I was greeted by smiles, asked to update my records, and escorted to a room with a window. Randi was my hygienist, and was both gentle and caring when she X-rayed and cleaned my teeth. She always told me what she was going to do before she did it and intermittently checked my comfort level. I was moved to another room with even more windows for the next phase of my appointment. Norma was the assistant who whisked away and cleaned my night guard for me while I waited a few minutes for the dentist. She and I enjoyed a short, friendly conversation before she told me it would be just a few minutes before the doctor arrived. It was most comforting to me as I waited to hear laughter from the patient next door as the dentist and patient chatted. When Dr. Ash (his first name) arrived just a few minutes later, he truly listened to what had happened and what I was interested in having done. He, too, was very gentle and was expertly assisted by Norma. Professionalism was evident in their working relationship and again, my comfort was made paramount. In addition, Dr. Ash utilized a type of filling material with some give, which had never been mentioned by other dentists, something that may prevent this particular filling from having to be replaced again. The entire appointment took about an hour and a half. Part of the cost was covered by insurance, and the rest was quite reasonable. I was out in the parking lot telling a friend about the office when a call came through. I had left my right guard in the office. How fortunate that I hadn't even left the area and how kind of staff to let me know so quickly. I can definitely recommend Implant and Family Dentistry of Arvada for atmosphere, personnel, professionalism, and an overall feeling that no matter what procedures are required, the client's comfort will be the primary consideration. Thanks and see you in six months!

This was a first time visit for both my husband and I. We were able to get appointments at the same time which was convenient. The front desk lady’s are friendly and welcoming. The x-ray technician, Danielle, was amazingly friendly, which was fantastic for someone like me who is very apprehensive about going to the dentist. The x-ray itself was uncomfortable just because of the awkward shaped piece that you have to bite down on, but to no fault of the technician. The dentist was friendly and thorough and made sure that I didn’t have any worries or concerns, also listened well and gave appropriate advise. The cleaning technician was also friendly and was very aware that flossing my very tight teeth was uncomfortable and gave me the option to not continue, which was appreciated. All in all the visit was very friendly and proficient. Thank you so much for the positive visit.

I have been very happy with them so far. The service has been friendly, helpful, personal, professional and overall excellent. They are knowledgeable about current dental techniques and skilled at applying them. They offer detailed explanations about planned procedures and the costs involved. Overall they seem very concerned about good health in general as well as good dental health. They have my repeat business.
