Exceptional Service I recently had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Alan Reisman and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and professional and made me feel at ease. Dr. Alan Reisman was thorough in explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns that I had , which gave me a lot of confidence going into the surgery. The procedure I had was slightly complex as I am a mature patient, however I felt very comfortable throughout. Dr. Reisman and his team made sure I was well taken care of before, during and after the surgery. The post operative instructions were clear, which helped me manage the healing process. I really appreciate how experienced and skilled Dr. Reisman was. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients well being. I would highly recommend Dr. Reisman to anyone in need of oral surgery. A great experience all around. Cathy R

SECOND EDIT TO ADD: as I have severe dental anxiety before my procedure, I specifically asked his office manager, Janet, if there had ever been any patient who had complications with Anesthesia. Because my specific anxiety relates to dying under anesthesia, I said verbatim: “No one has ever died under his care, correct?” To which she assured me that had never happened. That was a lie. Please see attached image. He actually had a patient die from anesthesia complications! This attached image is from a deposition involving another lawsuit he was involved in for malpractice. In this deposition, it is also discovered that he has had his license suspended in the state of Colorado previously. Edit to add: I called into the office this morning (1/23/25) to ask for a stronger antibiotic and was ignored. During my office visit yesterday, I was told that with the amount of pain I have he would recommend a stronger antibiotic. He then told me he would be contacting my primary care doctor about that, which he did, however, he never called in a stronger antibiotic. Because of this, I began the formal complaint process this morning, and found out that this dentist has been in trouble with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) before…which was not surprising to me at all. Please do your due diligence in researching the DORA website and previous trouble/disciplinary action against him. Yesterday in office was gaslit and told that he actually didn’t give me lidocaine with epinephrine and that my records would reflect it…as if they can’t be changed to reflect that. I was also informed that a part of my tooth remained and that I would need to come back in to remove it—as I feel completely unsafe in his care, I will be finding another oral surgeon to do this, even if I must pay out-of-pocket to do so. When he called my primary care doctor to speak with her about the medication issue, he told her I had a part of the nerve root that was left inside that needed to come out, contradicting what he had told me. This is an all-around extremely shady office. Dr Reisman is a VERY rude and abrasive man with a HORRIBLE bedside manner. I asked him not to give me lidocaine with epinephrine as I have very bad dental anxiety that is exacerbated by the epinephrine and while I was under anesthesia he chose to do so anyway, then he twice threw it in my face that he did so. When I told him I was having continued pain after extraction, he told me it was psychological. He was also very rude to my friend who drove me home. I would ABSOLUTELY not recommend this man. If I ever need another tooth pulled, I will most definitely not be going back to this office… I’d pull it out myself before I went back to him.

Dr. Reisman was listed on call for another dentist even though he was not. He still took the time to call and address my daughter's concerns on a weekend and spoke with her with empathy. I highly recommend this dentist and will use him in the future! You can tell he really cares about people.

I have needed to utilize Dr. Reisman's expertise multiple times over the past 10 years--tooth extractions (myself as well as our daughter), implant, referrals, 2nd opinion on a tooth another dentist told me was "dead" and needed to come out--Dr Reisman saved me from an unnecessary and expensive 2nd implant. I have found him to consistently be incredibly attentive, knowledgable, honest and caring. He has always fit me into his very busy schedule, which means he has to pop in and out of the room at times (prepping/numbing a patient in another room), but I'm incredibly grateful to be seen on short notice, which is when it really matters the most...when something is acute. Dr. Reisman's surgery assistants, Marlene & Darbi, are also very kind, attentive and knowledgeable and have been with his office for a very long time. Overall, I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Reisman and his great staff for the excellent work they did on my extensive oral surgery a little over a week ago. Dr. Reisman extracted five back teeth. Nevertheless, I suffered much less pain than I experienced with several other single tooth extractions by other doctors. I noticed right away that the sockets felt clean, much cleaner than previous extractions by other doctors. Of course, there was some pain, but not anything like the pain I experienced with other oral surgeries. It is nine days since I had the surgery and I am now completely recovered. I also want to thank Dr. Reisman's great staff for their expensive and never failing friendly support.
