They were very flexible and accommodating. They explained everything in a way I could understand. My care was outstanding. During my procedure, my care team took plenty of time to make sure I was comfortable and explained what they were doing step by step. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety and dentist phobia, I felt safe the whole time I was in the chair. I had a fantastic experience and hope u do too! -Emily, a greatful patient

Just had two 40-year-old fillings replaced/extended. Although not my favorite way to spend a lovely spring morning, it was painless. The dental assistant was very good about explaining how they would remove and replace the fillings, showing me all the tools, and the dentist was kind and considerate (and worked quickly).

Distinctive Dental is always very accommodating. They take good care of me and my teeth. Connie, the office manager, is outstanding with her customer service and follow-up. I would highly recommend them for your dental needs.

At first fine then simply awful, If not criminal. I went to distinctive dental on a groupon offer about four years ago and had a very good cleaning from the hygenist so I stayed with them. I rarely saw the dentist but the hygenist's were fine. About three years ago they started telling me I had several cavities that needed work, I had no pain but began to save the several thousand that I was quoted. About a year later, still with no pain from my "cavities", I had the first work done on me by Dr. Mattiesen. It was simply put, awful, I still have sensitivity from where she almost hit the nerve and one of the three fillings she did, fell out in 3 months, I have others from my childhood dentist that are 20 years old. I left shortly after that experience and my current dentist could find none of the other 7 cavities she said still needed work, and asked with horror who had done "that" to my teeth, referring to the poor shaping of my incisor which still scrapes my tongue.
