I wish I had read these warnings beforehand. My daughter and husband received a strep test on a Sunday night that came back negative. We have insurance that covers Urgent Care visits, and knew this when they went in. However, we have had to pay $2000 for this visit: two $125 co-pays for emergency care, plus the full amount for each of the tests: $800 x 2. I have talked to my insurance, and Centura billing to correct the fact that this was so clearly a specifically requested Urgent Care visit. Also, that even if it was Emergency Care, we should not be billed for the tests. They do not let you talk to anyone in person. You must go through their website to even question the bill. Then, they don't respond to you until 60-days later. I may have to walk over to the nurses at the facility because I have no recourse to even get an explanation from an actual person for how we could possibly be charged $2000 for a couple of 5 second strep tests when we have insurance that specifically covers the exact actions we took. I plan to continue to take action to curb this abhorrent, dishonest billing practice.

Dr. Hoyle is kind and knowledgeable and recommends alternative remedies whenever possible (which I love). I'm excited to have her as a primary care physician for my whole family. I've heard Dr. Brierley is excellent as well.

Very friendly staff. Love our Dr. We've been going here since August of 2016. Fairly new place when we started and now a year later its full of new patients. Waiting area wide open spacious area. Recommend this office whenever I can .

Unless you are exsanguinating from your femoral artery, or facing a similar life or death situation, take the extra time to drive to another urgent care facility. I was seen after a mountain bike crash to close a wound. I pay my $75 copay and think all is well. I get another bill for $75 and called Centura to ask why. They tell me to disregard it. I get another bill a few months later and call again to ask why, and they tell me there's another billing company for the physician. I call all the numbers they gave me over a period of several months and never was able to reach even a voicemail. My emails were never responded to. Today, I get a letter from collections for my second copay, so I swallowed my pride and paid. Frankly, I'm not sure what actually happened, or if I was obligated to pay a second copay. What I am sure of is unless I'm in danger of iminent death, I will be going to another urgent care facility that doesn't have shady billing practices.

I came in while I was fairly sick (vomiting, sore throat, cough, and more) but I wasnâ€™t actually there for any of that. My eyelid has been super swollen, red and painful for the past few days so I was worried I had an eye infection or worse. I arrived, tried to be as nice as I possibly could, patient and tried not cause a fuss. I was there for over two hours without seeing a doctor, without nurses coming in to let me know why it was taking so long and that they hadnâ€™t just completely forgotten about me. And when I finally pushed the nurse call button, a nurse came in and was very rude stating that they were busy and everyone has to wait while I was clearly on the verge of tears. Iâ€™m born and raised in golden and I will gladly drive further out of my way in the future. I will never be returning here and I will encourage all of my friends and family to stay away, as well. I understand if they are busy and if other patients issues are a higher priority but the way they handled a situation for someone who was clearly distressed was completely unprofessional.
