If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been living with tooth pain for months, as I just had twins and have been unable to leave them for a 2 hour root canal appointment. I finally was able to get finances in order ($1300!) and secure an appointment. My root canal was scheduled for 7:00 this morning, I'm writing this at 7:08, after driving home. The receptionist/office manager (Amy) told me to be there 20 minutes early to do my paperwork. Why they dont allow you to fill this out online, ahead of time, is beyond me, and it has never actually taken 20 minutes to fill out paperwork. My twins had a rough start this morning, and I called from the car, letting her know that I was on Main St., but running late. I asked if we would need to reschedule or if they could still perform my root canal. She was extremely rude. I get it... I was running late... But be a human. I could answer medical history questions over the phone, or while I was numbing. I don't have dental insurance, so nothing to verify. Then she started giving me alternative appointments WEEKS out... I am living with daily pain. There are plenty of endodontists that will be happy to take my $1300, I'm sure. I've also shared with my dentist, who has referred his patients here in the past. Not anymore.

As far as root canals go, it was a great experience. I had no pain post surgically and even getting numb was pretty painless. The staff and doctor are AWESOME. Thanks for taking care of me guys!

Does not overtreat. I had a pain in my tooth that two dentists had not really been able to give me a clear answer on. Through a series of tests Dr. Barton was able to diagnose it as most likely worn enamel, which could likely just be treated with desensitizing toothpaste. He could have made a lot more money off of me recommending a root canal. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism. While I have no experience with an actual root canal there, his competence at diagnosing issues seems to be better than a typical dentist.

I have some past baggage that made going in for a root canal hard, but Dr. Barton did a great job! Very understanding and kept me informed along the way. Thanks, Mike
