Dr. Schindler is the most careful dentist I could ask for. She always does her absolute best and will get the job done right the first time. It's unfortunate these reviews aren't the greatest because she is a fantastic dentist. For more positive reviews, she's also on Yelp and has some GREAT reviews on Rate-A-Biz. She is very honest and runs her own business out of her office at the South Broadway Medical Center in Littleton, CO. I had to get some work done involving needles which have never been my friend and she truly deserves her pain free dentistry certification because I didn't feel a thing! She has 2 dogs she brings into the office who always put me at ease when I need dental treatment. There is now someone at the front desk and she can help with anything you need. If she doesn't know the answer, she'll find someone who does. They take most dental insurances. Stop in to see Dr. Schindler, because she is honest and very hardworking and she understands how important your teeth are to you. I've been to some bad dentists and I'm so glad I come here now.

I've been seeing Dr Schindler for years, even traveling a long distance now. She an excellent dentist and takes the time necessary to make sure my teeth are happy.

First: Note that her address has changed, and is now on the corner of Broadway and West Davies Ave. N., just south of Arapahoe Rd, and very near where she used to be. Much nicer office and more easily found. This is a very small office, and not the usual group practice. She manages to keep her rates in line by doing most things herself, including reception work. She does her own cleanings without use of a hygienist. This is nice, since she can see problems right away while she is doing the work. She does have a couple of assistants working for her, but mostly it's a one-woman show. I have been going to her for over 2 years for both my job-mandated exams and other needs, and have never had a problem. What is unusual is that she does have a couple of very calm lovable bearded collies that pad around the office. Nice if you are into animal therapy. Could be a problem if you have allergies, though. Billing has never been an issue. It's the standard line you see in most places: Copay is preferred up front, but billing is still available. I've never had any residual pain, and she does a very competent job. She is an older dentist, and has many years of experience, and can do some things that they don't teach younger dentists any more.

I had to come here for my employer's mandatory annual dental exam. I waited 30 minutes w/o any verbal acknowledgement. The lady before me got tired of waiting and left, and the dentist called her cell phone to ask if she "gave up and left." The office environment is not so tidy and kind of spartan, if that's possible. Dr. Schindler is nice enough but has the personality of a librarian; don't expect much chatter or enthusiasm. I noticed and was surprised that there were no receptionists or dental assistants on hand. Anyway, the dentist did her job but I wouldn't come back unless forced to.

My experience was the worst I have ever had with a dentist, I grew up with a family dentist and never had issues with pain in filling a cavity, nor did I have to spend more than 1 hour in a chair before and of course when I was young I did not have to deal with billing issues. This Dentist office gave me all three issues. First I went to this dentist because they supposedly had this new waterlase technology offering pain free cavitiy fixing, their equipment had been broken for months, even though this was out of network for me I went anyway to get 4 cavities dealt with 2 cavities a session. Each session took almost 2 hours, and after the first cavities were done she did not smooth out the rough edges so I had pain for 3 months after the cavitiy was done, she did partially fix this on the 2nd visit. Then the billing issues I had to pay multiple times with multiple invoices, and finally when I advised I wanted to switch dentists to a dentist in my network and miles closer to my house all of a sudden there were other charges that were charged by the insurance company that I had to pay for in June when the services were completed in December. I was told over the phone when I advised I was going to another dentist that they had to waive these fees then when I go into the office to get my dental records sent to the new dentist I had to pay them. When I advised that they told me on the phone those fees had been waived and why hadnt I been notified of these charges months ago they said their billing lady is in Idaho and sometimes not very reliable. Finally the first two times I called notifying them I was switching dentists and the dentist herself (Dr. Joy) not the receptionist argued with me over the phone about being in network for me and advised a call back from the receptionist. 3 weeks later I get a call from the receptionist advising that they found it actually was out of network but still partially covered and pushed for me to stay with them.
