Mountain Family is truly a wonderful place and an essential part of Rifle. The office has both medical and dental care as well as a social worker who helps determine eligibility for Medicaid and other assistance programs. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at this facility and believe their care is superior to that of larger facilities.

While the waiting room is clean and well maintained, the staff was very nice (but understaffed), I was bummed when I became curious about "community voice" flyers they were promoting at the front desk but they were all in Spanish. After searching the desk, I found, under a newspaper, the English flyer and signup sheet. I understand that a lot of Spanish speaking citizens live in the valley and I have no qualms against Hispanic Americans but this is still America. The first language is English and it is not okay to post important community events in Spanish for everyone to see and have to search for the information in English. I was also greeted in Spanish by the receptionist and I do not speak Spanish. I'm Hawaiian and native american. Too often in our community, establishment employees assume I am Hispanic and greet me in Spanish. This has become a nuisance. Although the doctor who saw my son was friendly, she could not adequately explain to me her concerns with my sons symptoms. I understand these physicians aren't paid the best for their profession at this establishment but we still deserve to understand the possibilities and illnesses of our children. Get it together people. Be respectful of our country and community as well.

Always pleasant and efficient...very nice staff, courteous and respectful. The office is always clean. My provider has been amazing...Firstly she listens....she is compassionate and truly cares about your health and making sure you are feeling as tip top as you can be! My provider has worked hard with me to get me where I am today....

My experience was horrible. When I was finally able to get an appointment the dentist only looked at the tooth that was giving me pain. Any decent doctor would look at the entire mouth. But because their entire structure is built to milk the Medicaid system they do the VERY minimum required by law. He did not give me any pain medication even though I haven't been able to sleep for days, and I was prescribed the least potent antibiotic. The next available appointment was 3 weeks away, yes I had to wait 3 weeks to get my tooth pulled! This office is completely understaffed and lacking experience. You are just a number, not a person in pain. A complete joke. I went to Comfort Dental and was pain free in 2 days!
