I drive about an hour and a half to come here. The doctors are great and everyone is very friendly. Our main PCP is great but I have seen several of the other doctors in the office for various reasons and had good experience with them all. They take my care and my son's health very seriously and get us in quickly l

Dr. O'Hara is brilliant. She's exceptionally knowledgeable, as are most board certified MDs. What sets Dr. O'Hara apart is her compassion. Her care is excellent because she does not forget that we are whole humans, and our emotions are connected to our physical bodies, and our situations in life play into our healthcare needs. She does not check her personality or her big heart at the door of the exam room. I'm exceedingly grateful for the care I've received at Salida Family Medicine.

It appears the receptionist here is notoriously rude can't believe the way I was treated she insisted I was late though I was on time and then I received a letter that I never showed up at all and that they won't see anyone of my family of four anymore. Unfortunately I believe this is a result of medicaid discrimination as this is also the case at the other dr in town who I have heard discharges patients from their care if they are on medicaid. The worst part is that I needed a biopsy to determine if I have lymphoma or not(at least a dr that can check properly). Barely even got lip service, I thought when I left that I had another appointment now I need another dr and have to wait longer to know and recieve treatment. Truly these doctors need to be served.

Whoever answers the phone when calling here is very rude. She gets an attitude when you ask if there are any appointments that are not a month out. If you are a new patient I would suggest going somewhere else. I will give another star for Dr. Irving though- she is amazing and the absolute best.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. The doctors are related and are on vacation all the times I’ve called. Took them 3 weeks to send off an important referral that ended in an emergency gallbladder removal. They were too busy and short staffed when I had pink eye and had zero empathy about turning me away. I gave them a star because they do answer their phones and if you’re a new patient they’ll get you in fast.
