A month ago our family of six journeyed up to Monarch and experienced this truly once in a lifetime activity. We started off by talking with Deanna and learning the names of the dogs. Next Caleb explained the next proceedings- hooking the dogs up and our placement on the sleds. I was nervous as I have a 9 year old daughter on the spectrum; she did not like the dogs yelping but Caleb was patient with us and eventually, when we stated moving, she calmed down. I was able to ride standing behind Caleb as he drove, all the while asking questions and of course taking pictures in very daring ways! I highly recommend Caleb and Deanna and hope you get a chance to experience the snowy mountains this way as well.

All we can say is a must do activity! Can’t say enough about the professional way Calab works his dogs. My husband and I had so much fun doing this together and now next year we will bring our grand kids up. So also make reservations quick as the time slots fill up fast.

Just had our dog sled ride this past weekend with Caleb as our guide...we had kids ages 4,6, and 8 and 2 adults in our sled and all ages thought it was one of the coolest things we’ve ever experienced! The dogs are so well cared for, and you get to know a bit about the history of dog mushing as well as Get to know the dogs themselves. Highly recommend
