Kunau Drilling and Septic Systems drilling and septic systems have worked with our family for twenty-two years since 1995. Of the four major drillings and septic systems installers in the area, Kunau Drilling and Septic Systems is by FAR the best! Kunau Drilling and Septic Systems drilled our original well. The Late Kunau Senior located a great spot for the well location, and Kunau Junior discounted the price because Iâ€™m a Vietnam Navy Veteran, even after our home builderâ€™s Bobcat operator, damaged the power line to the well pump, Kunau crew repaired the power line at no addition charge to the builder or me, before the Veterans Administration (VA) inspection! Seventeen years later, I damaged the original Gould pump by putting bleach in the well, (after another major drilling company stated to me to â€œshock (sanitize) the water systemâ€), Kunau replaced the pump within two days for a great price. For this septic system job, the Kunau crew of Bryan and Joe did a tremendous job and we are very pleased. Bryan and Joe used a Laser leveler to insure proper positioning of the tank to get a good flow to the septic field. I like that! I recommend this company to anyone who wants an honest, reliable experience, very reasonable prices and the staff is all very friendly, just great people, thank you!

Beware!! They will not do what you want they have their own agenda, my husband is a very experienced contractor and they did not put the well in the location that we wanted which was approved by the city, and county. They are also very rude when trying to discuss options. We received the invoice, and 72 hours later they threatened lawyers and taking us to collections because we had not paid our bill. Yet we just got the invoice, and we had a few questions. Watch out!!

Our septic tank required immediate replacement. We received a fair estimate from Teresa at Kunau Drilling and we accepted. She helped walk us through every step of the process from permits to having lines marked to final inspection with extreme courtesy and professionalism. Then Brian and Joseph showed up on time and worked to dig, assisted with pumping by Uneek (another great company) and placing, setting, hooking up and covering the system. Throughout the process they were professional, courteous and timely. They took the extra time to explain not only what but why they were installing parts and the impact on the entire system. Thank you Brian and Joseph especially for taking the time to educate us on our system and its upkeep. You two are Superstars! After it was all completed, I received the invoice which was slightly less than the estimate, always a bonus in any business. Simply put, these professionals can be counted on to get the job done right at a very fair price. I HIGHLY recommend this company for any septic or pump services. PS: They have handled all of my water requirements including pump replacement over the past 20 years. Most recently, our water pump system failed. Jason of Kunau came out, diagnosed the problem, fixed it (a burned out capacitor) and had us showering again in no time. And he was exceptionally courteous, professional and timely. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need, he simply found the issue and fixed it. Jason is a rock star of the service industry! I believe that all of the staff at Kunau provide the highest quality of service which is why I give them my best recommendation!

Do not use this company you will get screwed. We used them for a new septic system because they gave us the best price and got it done when we needed it. The job was done and they were paid. David who did the work, came back and said it needed a different part and assured us there would be no extra charge. Weeks later we get a bill for over $2000. We fought it as long as we could but Theresa was a horrible person to deal with. The rudest woman we've ever encountered at a company. They threatened to file leans on our home and bring us to court. The backed their employee saying they are not allowed to do pricing and would never say such a thing. They took us to court and then tried to make us pay the $2000 plus what we already paid on top of court fees. We wasted so much time and effort. We settled on the $2000 because we were tired of fighting with then and didn't want to put our home in jeopardy. This is that company TV warns you about. We have found out throughout this they do it often. They get the job and then increase the bid in the end. Stay far away from these people unless you enjoy throwing out money. We were treated very unfairly and these types of companies need to be shut down.

Kunau came out to my property to figure out what was going on with my well. Said they need to go check on a part and never returned or returned a phone call. As a Real Estate agent I had a client that needed well service...I figured I would give them another try, called and explained my personal experience with them...the lady on the phone apologized and stated she would have someone call me for the new service....guess what no call no show!! Very unprofessional. There are other great well companies out there.
