I just had a root canal there done yesterday. The good is that it was quick, and I have negligible pain today - without pain meds. The bad is that I felt pressured into getting the root canal yesterday. It was my first visit there, and if chose to think about it and come back later, it would cost an extra $170. I mean, root canals are a big deal, and the $180 that I had to pay for the procedure (with insurance) is enough to make me want to sleep on it for a bit. But nope, making a thorough decision would cost me $170. So, of course I did it. After signing the paper work, I asked to go to the restroom first, which was no big deal, but apparently I "lost my place in line" (assistant's phrase) and he went on to do a procedure on someone else. I felt like the whole operation was just get us in, and get us out and make as much money as efficiently as possible - not the patient's concerns and qualms over oral surgery. Thankfully, I had the time to wait while he operated on someone else, and thankfully the procedure was done well so that even if it was rushed, it was done well. But I would rather have waited to pay the $180 in full rather than put it on my credit card, when I wasn't exactly prepared to pay it. And I didn't like that he was jumping back and forth between surgeries. And stupid insurance was not going to cover a little internal bleaching to make the tooth color match a little better the others, but that's not Dr. Sakamoto's fault. Delete review
