As someone who's usually terrified of dental work, my hygienist Jessica and Dr. Kramer were wonderful in calming my nerves and going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They were super gentle with my anesthetic (one of my worries, always) and they made sure to keep communication open about my comfort levels, always encouraging me to let them know if anything was wrong. Best dental experience I've had in a while!!

I give Edgewood Dental Care a 5 Star Rating. I am a current patient of Dr. Kevin McMahon. A short story - for years I went to several area dentists, had some routine things done and even a root canal and crown at one point. I had some recession with my gums but was told that we would 'keep an eye out for that.' It was my husband who recommended I go see Dr. McMahon, which I did, and was told that I needed extensive periodontal work plus many crowns as well. After getting over the shock of the whole thing, I realized that the dentists that I had been seeing were doing me no favors by giving me a clean bill of health every 6 months. I would not have found myself in the position I was in had I been going to Edgewood Dental. So now let me tell you more about the actual practice. When you go there as a new patient, you will find that everyone is very friendly, the offices are conveniently located in Edgewood right off 275 near Thomas More College, and the offices are newly renovated and are beautiful. Help yourself to a Krueg coffee while waiting or an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie. You will also receive a welcome gift bag full of goodies! The office is run on time so you will not find yourself waiting for your appointment. The staff worked with me on many things since I was in a certain situation meaning I needed to get on a path of a long, extensive treatment plan. Everything about my treatment plan was explained to me in total detail so that I understood why I needed each thing. I ended up getting LANAP the laser gum treatment, plus 6 crowns and even some teeth whitening to boot. Now, two years later, my teeth and gums look great! It was a long road and I still have some amalgams that I want to get replaced with the white stuff, but it was worth it and I am very glad that I have a healthier mouth and feel very fortunate. Edgewood Dental invests in, and utilizes the latest technology which is changing all the time. Thank you Edgewood Dental!
