I've been a patient of Dr. Kalter for over 15 years. He is by far the best dentist I've had. Gentle and understanding as always.

My daughter Jade and I have been long time patients of Dr. Kalter, I am 71 now. How could anyone not give him 5 stars? I have 2 knees that need replacing, and yet I drove 300 miles to have him help me about 3 weeks ago. It was Drive or Die. He saw me 4 times, and tried very diligently to find the cause of my level 10 pain. He came in on July 3rd just to see me. He helped me get into Shore Memorial Hospital and arranged to have an Oral Surgeon from outside the hospital come to see me. Dr. Kalter visited me 3 times in the hospital. The Oral Surgeon operated on a large abscess which was forming under my chin, surgery was late at night. It could have cut off my breathing. Dr. Kalter deserves much more than 5 stars! Only one time in many, many years has he hurt me with a novocain shot - I was at pain level 9 at the time recently and my jaw hardly opened. You are not going to fine a better dentist than Dr. Kalter in the field in which he practices. Always kind and empathetic. He cares for my daughter who has a traumatic brain injury. That takes a Saint. She loves him.

Great Dr. Always made sure I was OK during my oral surgery.. only had a hiccup when my gum cracked during the extraction but he was fast enough to not let me feel anything that happened he quickly numbed it and his tech was awesome... held my hand the rest of the surgery! It's been years since I have been here but I def recommend this office!

Dr. Kalter may be technically competent, but I've never met a dentist with so little regard for their patients. He did not listen to my complaints about two painfull fillings. The pain was why I made an appointment in the first place. Instead he prescribed a night-guard, which I did not ask for. By the time he was done, Dr. Kalter had billed my dental plan for my entire year's allowance, and did not treat the symptoms I wanted treated. In fact over the course of 3 visits I kept asking if he was going give me treatment for the bad fillings, each time it was as if I'd never mentioned it. Ultimately I went to another dentist and found out that I needed a root canal. I never ended up using the night guard, which didn't fit right and cracked after a couple of weeks use. What Dr. Kalter did may not have crossed the line into malpractice, but it was definitely unethical and caused me months of pain. He has no regard for his patients. Stay away.
