Jersey Smile

For years I’ve wanted to do something about my smile and just never have. I’ve always been “uncomfortable” in social situations or smiling for photos. It got to the point that I would even cover my mouth when laughing or speaking to people. I was actually ashamed of how I looked. Every holiday photo I have is with me grimacing through a closed lip smile. My kids even asked me “Mommy, why are you so angry in all of our pictures? That was the last straw. I was really tired of going through life this way. Going to the dentist has never been easy for me to. I think this is because I had bad experiences as a child. I recently moved to the area and my physician highly recommended Dr. Berkeypile at Jersey Smile in Berkeley Heights, NJ. He said he takes his entire family there and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Well, if it’s good enough for my doctor and his family I thought I’d give them a try. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. They made me feel comfortable and cared for from the minute I walked in the door until my treatment was done. Dr. Berkeypile, unlike previous dentists I’ve been to, actually spent time with me. He took the time to listen to all of my fears and concerns, and took the time to find out what kind of smile I WANTED. I finally had a plan. Fast forward to now. I have a beautiful smile that I’m proud to show off. It took three visits, and I even got my teeth cleaned. Dr. Berkeypile explained everything he was going to do before he did it, and made sure that I was always comfortable every step of the way. Finally I’d like to mention Delia. She’s amazing too! She took care of sending in all of my insurance paperwork so I didn’t have that headache, and she helped me find a way to afford my gorgeous new smile. To say I couldn’t be happier is an understatement! Yesterday at work one of my coworkers commented on how much younger I looked, and my kids commented on this year’s Christmas photos that Mommy looks so happy! Dr. Berkeypile, you’ve given me more than my smile back. You’ve given me my self confidence back. I love the way I look now, and I love the way that makes me feel. That is huge! Thanks so much. I have been going to Dr. B for years now. He does amazing work. He takes his time explaining what he is doing and makes you feel very comfortable. His assistant, Delia, is also great, making trips to the dentist a great experience.

Dr. B has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He is very gentle, meticulous, and always up on the latest techniques. Last year, I decided to lightened my badly stained teeth. He recommended a process that combines two office treatments combined with home care and the results were beautiful. I have bleaching trays that were made for my mouth that I use biweekly to keep my teeth bright. His assistant, Delia, is also wonderful, making trips to the dentist a calming experience.

I have been a patient for almost twenty years. There is no other dentist I trust to work on my teeth. I am a resident of Florida and live at the Jersey shore in the summer months and still drive to Berkeley Heights for my dental needs. Dr Berkeypile is very thorough and meticulous. He makes me feel very comfortable. I also want to give a shout out to Delia (his assistant) who is also wonderful.

Finally, after quite some time looking for a GREAT dentist (and having been to some not so good ones…), I feel I have found the right one! Dr. Berkeypile makes you feel at all times that you are getting the best possible treatment for your dental needs. I came to him with a different number of issues and he has provided a comprehensive solution to each of them. He removed some old fillings, corrected cracks and filled them in such a beautiful way that it seems as if it was the real thing. Not even once I have had to go back with an issue. To complement it, the dental care is done together with the most advance media technology that allows the patient to be involved with the treatment at all times (high-def cameras). I can’t say how relieved I am to have him around in my neighbourhood looking after me and my family. Having said this, the highlight is how wonderful he and his staff makes patients feel, for everything, from getting the appointment to teaching the basics of oral care. Totally recommended!!
