I was a little kid when I went to his dentist and it was hell for me I was maybe 7-8 and he was so unprofessional for me to tell as a kid. He would talk right into your mouth without wearing a mask and would accidentally spit into your mouth (breathe stunk). When ever you had to have laughing gas we would fiercely force the mask on. When ever u got too fussy (which is how I was during the operations I would kick and scream) instead of trying to calm you down he would either yell in your face to stop you, or strap you down like some kind of asylum. The wife (from what I could tell was very rude and just not a pleasant person) would argue with her customers and yell at them. The last time I went into an appointment my brother was with me and a week later he had a wire stuck in his mouth near the tooth they were working on and we checked all of the wires in the house for bite marks Incase he was eating the wires. We couldn’t find any and all of our minds told us it was him.

Dr. Bob and Theresa were my son’s dental provider for thirteen years. He’s going off to college this summer in NYC and will have one last check up soon. He liked Dr Bob and his staff. He has beautiful teeth thanks to these folks. We never had any issues. The place is always clean. The reviews I read below are not at all representative of our experience. Dr Bob and Theresa are very direct- and maybe that’s off putting to some folks. They are going to tell you about any issues with your kids teeth and how your kid, as well as you as a parent, can help to ensure they take good care of their teeth. The wait time can sometimes be a bit long in the waiting room when they’re busy (Wednesday early school release days) but that’s because you’re not rushed in the back when you see the doctor and he spends as much time with you as you need. I appreciate this. Thanks Dr. Bob, Theresa, and your staff for all the years of great care for my kiddo!

Possibly the worst dentist I have ever had the displeasure of working on my teeth. How this guy is still practicing is a mystery. First, he takes HOURS to do what normal, better dentists do in 30 minutes. Second, the quality of his work is so bad, I had to go to a different dentist to fix his mistakes. I came to this moron to get a root canal and it took four trips to his office to get it finished while any other dentist took only one visit to complete. On top of that, the crown this idiot put on came off after only 2 months. When I went back and demanded he fix it, he wanted to charge me nearly $800 dollars to fix HIS mistake! A year after he "fixed" it, my new (better and more experienced) dentist tells me the tooth Belfon worked on needs to be removed entirely because he screwed it up so much. His assistants are just as incompetent and unprofessional. One of them ruined my teeth even further, another kept rubbing my arm and touching me repeatedly in a very unprofessional fashion. His wife is the worst part. She acts like a mob boss when it comes to payments and when I expressed my outrage at having to pay extra for her husband's screw ups, her reaction was "After you, I'm taking payments up front!" I wasn't the only one who suffered. My sister had her tooth worked on and had to have all her front teeth fixed several times because he couldn't do the job right the first time. The last time she was there, he was going to pull her tooth out WITHOUT NUMBING HER FIRST. I only went to this guy at the recommendation of a friend who said he was cheap (he really wasn't). Now I hear rumors he ran away from back east because he was getting sued all the time. Avoid this guy at all costs. Go see a real dentist. Save yourself the multiple trips to the dentist.

People with ALL my heart I tell you run don’t walk to another dentist. Please, everything that is written about the unsanitary conditions and the treatment of his patients and staff are abhorrently true. Dr. Belfon berated one of his staff members in front of the patients. They would leave us and other patients in the waiting room for hours while they made phone calls to their travel agent to fly to South America. Dr. Belfon tried to get away without using novacaine on my son before drilling. Theresa, his wife, is a mean, disrespectful... She’ll be nice to you until you’ve paid off your bill them she’ll attack you verbally and bad mouth you until you can’t take returning. If you do decide to take family to see this quack don’t step away from him or his arrogant, uneducated, spiteful fish-wife. Furthermore, if my comment is deleted, I will repost it.

Really? My review gets removed because I said the truth? Ha. No..remove, and I will keep posting. I worked for "Dr." Robert Belfon for just a few months in 2013, and I want to say this because people have a right to know who this guy really is..Those reviews talking about how great he is..do you notice how it's a "Google user" and doesn't show a name? That's because he has the dental assistants that are working for him, write those reviews! Anyways, this guy is a pig! I did work there, and not only was it unsanitary, it was unsafe. They reused dirty instruments without sanitizing them..they NEVER called the company that is supposed to pick up the red container that had used needles (numbing agents) in them...even after it was over flowing! He almost always overlooked safety procedures for both patients and his staff! He would eat like the pig he is, while his patient would be on the chair with their mouth wide open, full of equipment. Also taking personal calls while he'd be working on his patient (ordering a freaking cake for his dogs birthday...seriously. Don't even get me started on his wife, who is the hygienist. I don't know about now, but back then she certainly didn't have a dentistry license, and she would do procedures that she legally should have NOT been doing!! You have no idea how wrong and messed up that is..AND I will say two last things..one, him and his wife have a track record for abusing their animals. They had extremely malnourished horse on their property and they were fined for it. Two, and this is probably the most F***ED UP thing he has ever done..Ok so as dental assistants, you can read an x-ray of teeth, but you are not allowed to tell a patient that they have a cavity or need a root canal, because as I said that's a dentists part..so this dude would misdiagnose patients, children and adults alike!! He would literally tell someone, "Oh you need a root canal, etc etc) even though the person DID NOT! Don't get me wrong, some patients did, but a lot of them didn't, and then he'd botch the job just so he can charge more and to the point where their mouth had to be fixed elsewhere because he either did it wrong, left debris in the tooth...you get the picture..it was so wrong. Now I'm not telling everyone this because I'm trying to get back at him (I had quit, no firing) no way...I just want everyone to know who this guy is, and not to be fooled by these reviews or his facade because he is not a good dentist, nor is he a good person...NO WAY! Protect yourself. 0/5 stars
