My wife and I were told we needed a deep cleaning that was not covered by our insurance. This office Great Expressions Central Park ave. didn’t fight for us when our insurance said no to the procedure. They didn’t even help us appeal the decision. Our insurance informed us that the dentist did not write that it was medically necessary and for that reason it was denied. We reached out to the dental office Great expressions and explained our findings and solutions from our insurance to a representative who then told us, they can’t change anything, we need to get from our primary care doctor a letter of medical necessity of this procedure. While this took months to do and got us nowhere, we then called the dentist office back. My wife was told that seeing our primary care doctor made no sense and their systems were down and could not look into our files. However the representative was sorry for the wrong information from her colleague but could not help me at the moment I to wait a hour, she would call me back. Well I never got that call back, at this point we are fed up with this place and their customer service. This place is a shake down from day one , they even tried to get us to spend $60 dollars for a gum cancer screening, something that should be free. On 2/21/23 10:24am wife gave Great expressions dental office a call they never called back.
