Appointments are prompt and on time. Procedures are completed efficiently. Staff work hand-in-glove with each other and don't skip a beat. Dr. Schwartz went much further in depth than I expected in my initial examination. He then told me very clearly what was going on in my mouth and the treatments he recommended. He wastes no time and gets right down to business. Kelli is awesome and takes care of dealing with my insurance/reminding me of my appointments. Also to note; she is second to none as a chair-side assistant and keeps things moving quickly during procedures. Working with Dr. Schwartz is a great experience and I'm very thankful for the high quality dental care he and his staff offer (and the great customer service). Dr Schwartz is the ABSOLUTE BEST dentist I've ever been to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to them! I've never known a dentist to take the oral health and personal situation of his patients and their teeth so seriously. Additionally, running the office and assisting him with his work is the sweetest woman, Kelli. Thanks to Kelli, the office is kept very organized, super clean and I always feel welcome when I come in. She keeps personal contact with patience and texts me reminders for appointments, I couldn't ask for a better experience. Let me give a little back story to attest to how individualized the care from this team is. I came in to Dr Schwartz office because I had a muller cavity emergency giving me a ton of pain and swelling, something I should have had looked at much earlier. They sent me to a great Endodontist for an emergency root canal. Afterwards I came into their office to get it crowned and have my whole mouth looked at. I needed a lot of work done to restore the health of my teeth. Dr Schwartz was so thurough that he wrote personal notes of each of my teeth and what type of care they needed and possible options to best treat each one. He then organized a plan starting with the most urgent teeth needing care. They organized the list and accurately predicted the cost of each phase. Marlin and Kelli really care about the health of their patients and individualize their needs and consider their situation. Apart from all the scheduled work they were guiding me through, I had an accident ice skating where I bit the ice and my two front teeth were shoved backwards. The first thing I did was call Kelli. Very quickly Dr Schwartz came in on his day off and he pushed my teeth back into place and set them with a foundation to start healing. I was so scared from the accident and Kelli comforted me, holding my hand through the whole thing. I was able to keep both my front teeth and no one can tell there was an accident thanks to the urgent care I received, without which they would have been out of place too long to push back into place and I probably would have had to replace them with crowns. Overall, Dr Schwartz takes care of the teeth of his patients with great care and precision and paired with Kelli, who makes the experience organized, open and personal like a warm plate of cookies, they have a great dynamic as a team. I moved two hours away but I'll be making the drive back to New Paltz for any dental care I need, they just know me my teeth.

Dr. Marlin Schwartz has definitely impressed me with his work and skill as a dentist. After years of not having dental work done, my teeth are in bad shape yet Dr Marlin Schwartz is able to restore them I had a crown done and one year later it feels great. He may be blunt sometimes with the facts, but its better to hear the facts then pretending they don't exist. His staff is also very friendly and easy to work with. I found Dr. Schwartz on Google and if you are debating on scheduling a visit with him for dental work I'd strongly advise you to consider him. His skill as a dentist is fantastic and teeth that may be difficult for other dentists Dr Marlin Schwartz manages to pull through.

This is all I am going to say: His office looks like it was designed and built in the 1970 and was never renovated since then. His infection control practices are absolutely awful. His assistant and him will grab a phone with the gloves while they are doing a procedure and then they will casually go back to their work. He failed to diagnose a cavity that I had, even after taking multiple x-rays. he said he didn't see anything and that I just had to brush more often, possibly do more cleanings and rinse with salt and water ( And by the way I told him my tooth hurt and I had a bad taste in my mouth). a deep cavity was found and treated by another dentist that same week -He Looked at a panoramic ( x ray) and said that a supernumerary tooth that I had next to a molar could be a tumor. - he also said I WASN'T ELEGIBLE FOR INVISALIGN.By the way, I got in contact with another orthodontist and now I AM WEARING INVISALIGN. All this in one appointment. Do NOT go to him.

The receptionist Kelli is a sweetheart and made me feel comfortable since this is not my normal dentist. Dr. Schwartz let me know all of my options; and when I had to have my wisdom tooth out the process was quick and painless!
