Miraculous Blessing

ECU Dental Clinic in Bolivia was an answer to my prayers. Dr Caprio and her knowledgeable staff are wonderful! I experienced marvelous care in a state of the art clinic. I was treated with absolute respect by everyone. They presented an affordable path for my dental needs. I am proud to tell you ,that you will be eternally grateful for ECU and the talented doctors who will treat you.

All staff is very polite and they were able to get me in on an emergency! They were very caring, insuring I was numb for an extraction. I had a very present experience here. They do seem to stay very busy but get threw each patient as quickly and professionally as possible.

For anyone from North Carolina seeking first class, affordable dental care, please read this. I have been going to ECU's dental clinic in Brunswick for 4 years, and the dental care I have received is the best. As with any publicly subsidized institutional service, it is important to be proactive and patient as you navigate through the process of becoming a client. You will be called back if you have to leave a message. Understand, the demand for a service like this is off the charts. You may have to be patient, and at times be comfortable with longer appointment lead times than you might experience with a private practice. If you are persistent however you will not be disappointed. Here's the thing: the ECU School of Dental Medicine dental clinic system is one of the best kept secrets in the world of dental care. If you want world class dentistry; want to pay 1/3 what a private practice would charge for the same work; want to make sure you are not paying for procedures you may not really need, then reach out to any one of the ECU dental clinics. To this date, I've gone to the clinic in Bolivia, but there are several clinics throughout the state of North Carolina to serve the state's residents. There's no need to go without good dental care because you cannot afford it. ECU is working very hard to make sure North Carolina residents can go to a dentist. ECU offers state of the art facilities, and some of the best trained and experienced attending dentists in the United States. I say thank you ECU and North Carolina for the forward thinking leadership which brought about the ECU dental clinic system.

I have been a patient at the ECU School Of Dental Medicine in Brunswick County for several months now. I was so blessed to have been able to be seen and have a total dental assessment and two implants and was very pleased with the service until this week. Unfortunately, I shared with Dr. Pinnell that I would be moving in the near future. By the way, I was told by office staff that I COULD continue to be served by this office once I moved. I had a conversation with Dr. Pinnell, his assistant, and office statt that I have family and friends in the area and I have no issue with travelling back to Bolivia to finish the needed procedures. I never missed an appointment, owe no balance on my account, and have never been late for appointments. I only hope that someone with ECU Dental School will read this and address this with Dr. Pinnell. If you are a patient of ECU Dental be sure to steer clear of this man. I personally witnessed him berate his assistant on the several occasions that I was in the chair. Dr. Pinnell is NOT an ECU Dental School Resident, but rather a retired dentist that has moved to the area and needs to "GO TO THE HOUSE" and let someone else do these procedures and this will continue to be a great asset to the community.
