Extremely pleased with my son Nathan's experience at this office. His recovery was quick and virtually pain free due to the detailed post surgery instructions and excellent expertise of Dr.Bath and his team. They were all personable, professional and willing to answer all my questions about the procedure itself as well as the billing process. Before scheduling, they provided me with an estimate of my financial responsibility as well as what they anticipated my insurance to pay. Overall, their explanations were clear with no surprises. I have referred others here who have had similar outstanding experiences. Highly recommend!

I had to get my wisdom teeth removed last week, and let me tell you, my experience could not have been better. I walked in for my consultation and they gave me very specific, clear instructions on what to do before the surgery, and when I would be recovered. On the day of the procedure, I walked in and they gave me, again, very clear and specific instructions on what to do and eat after the surgery, which luckily weren’t very restrictive at all. All of the people I met while I was there were extremely friendly and helpful. After I woke up, I had some bleeding for a few hours, but no pain. I continued to have no pain for the rest of the day, and got back onto normal activities (although they dont recommend it) about 8 hours after the surgery. Overall, they make you feel very safe and are very friendly, I would most definitely recommend Dr. Bath for anyone that has to get a procedure like this done.

Hello, The surgeons were great and very nice. This was the only decent aspect of this encounter. We were referred and two of sons had their wisdom teeth removed last year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The process had us supply both insurance companies to the billing specialist prior to any procedures and make whatever payment would NOT be covered by the insurances. Again we have two dental insurances and still needed to come up with several hundred dollars for each of our sons. We paid the fees as we were told everything MUST be paid up front prior to any procedure being completed. Last month we received a bill for an additional $377.70 and I have telephoned requesting detailed information and no one has returned my calls. I just received another statement requesting the same amount of money. Why do we pay up front only to have this type of behavior from billing. Not very good customer service and honestly I am not a fan of the billing practices. These bills have been paid in full prior to any procedures. ***Please be careful if you decide to use these oral surgeons.

As others have expressed below, the issues with this practice stem from improper billing, not the dental surgery itself. My husband had his wisdom teeth taken out in January 2017. We were told that insurance would cover part of it but we needed to pay the rest. We did at the time of the surgery and thought everything was squared away. In October of this year, we received a bill for the full amount of the surgery ($525.00). I was dumbstruck by this as it was literally months since the surgery. I spent the next 6 weeks making phone calls to this office and our insurance company to figure out the issue. At times, I was promised a return phone call same day or I left messages and these calls were never returned. FINALLY, after escalating the issue, the office admitted that we OVERPAID the day of the surgery and that they'd send us a check in 60-90 days. The employees at this office have no idea what they are doing when it comes to billing. Save yourself the headache and have your teeth pulled somewhere else!

Dr. Bath performs good work and is very pleasant. His office practices are ridiculous! They provide an estimate that isn't worth the paper it is printed on. They require payment of the estimate in full prior to surgery. Then they will submit to your insurance. Estimate was exceeded by over $1,000. Insurance billing was a nightmare and 7 months later have still not received payment for what was financed upfront. Was told that office policy is "90 days after final insurance payment" for refund. UPDATE: Have been in contact with Dr. Bath and he is working to make everything right. He has become of previous practices and is working to change them and correct past practices. Have gained respect for this practitioner!
