Prior to my husband’s experience in this office I was terrified of root canals. We received a referral from our general dentist who felt my husband’s treatment was best to be completed by a specialist. The next morning we received a call from Kaylee offering to get an appointment set up. We had lots of questions but she was able to answer most. My first concern was the cost of a root canal. We were quoted a range (only about a $50 window between low and high end). She was unfamiliar with our insurance plan but assured me that she would do everything possible to receive some payment from the insurance company. Kaylee walked us through what to expect and put our minds at ease that this is no longer a medieval tortuous procedure but is more like a deep filling. Dr. Bowman is an excellent dentist whose main priorities are making sure his patients are comfortable, understand all of their options and giving the best dentistry he can offer. Rachael, an assistant, does a great job assisting the doctor but could work on patient care (a bit gruff and rushed but otherwise nice.) After initial check in and X-rays, Jack, the other assistant, came in and was much more light hearted and kind. I would recommend Dr. Bowman to anyone who needing a root canal. Don’t wait and endure pain. He makes the process a breeze and I am embarrassed to admit my husband fell asleep during the procedure. I wish Dr. Bowman was a general dentist because we would go to him for everything.
