Whole head color correction on multiple times dyed hair w/ cut and style. Chris did it right with precision and efficiency.

I've been going here for my haircuts for at least the last 5 cuts. This past Thursday will be my final visit to this establishment. I decided to get my hair coloured this time. I repeatedly asked for bright light blue. I have brunette Asian hair. Sections of my hair was already bleached for highlights to almost white. Having all my hair coloured would have covered greys and left the beached sections a much lighter shade of blue. The hairstylist, Dan, showed me a book of colours samples and I told him that the blue there was too dark. It was Indigo/Navy. I was looking for a much brighter shade. I pointed to a green shade that was bright and told him that I would like this lightness but in Blue. He kept re assuring me he understood, without actually showing me a sample of what the colour would be. Because he didn't show me or confirm the a visual sample of the shade I wanted, I got a sinking feeling that the blue wouldn't be bright. So I kept asking him repeatedly, if the colour will be a brighter blue. He said yes. By the end of it... $240, it was the darkest Indigo / Navy blue that he applied. I can't wait until this stuff washes out so I can start over. The wash had no scalp massage. The trim to remove damaged ends was as expected. At least the greys got covered. If you go here for colouring, ensure you see with your own eyes the colour sample of the exact colour you want before application. Don't just take their word for it. This was my expensive lesson to learned but I will no longer be returning here.

Honestly, I was a bit intrigued when I saw this hairdressing studio. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are super friendly. When I walked up to ask for a cut for my partner and I, we were taken care of right away. Took our coats, gave us silky robes to wear. Escorted us to have our hair washed, which was really relaxing. Our hair stylist mia did a wonderful job on us both (highly recommend) as she paid quite amount of detail and care.

Mia is the worst hairdresser I have ever seen. Even straight haircuts are beyond her abilities.

TLDR: Came in for a trim and to fix my bangs, left with worse hair then I came in with. I waited over 10 mins just for someone to wash my hair (which was amazing by the way, the only reason they get 2 stars). I told the hair stylist what I wanted, literally a trim and showed him a picture. He looked at it really quick and said okay. He told me that my hair will get trimmed shorter and I said okay but then he cut off over 3 inches of hair… I had told him I had a side part but he started cutting for a middle part. He also gave my so many layers when I did not want my hair thinned out or layered. Half way through he left me to blow dry another client and left me with soaking wet hair on my face. I got whiplashed so many times by my own wet hair. When they dried my hair, no heat protectant was used and no serums were used afterwards so I was left with very frizzy hair. This is the worst haircut and experience I’ve had
