I have been a part of smile keepers for many years now and have had a mixture of experience with them. Smile Keepers customer service has alway been amazing, nice, and compatible. But who ever is in charge of checking the program for text messages (you can confirm appointments through texts) needs to have a serious check up. There has been not once but twice when I had this issue, I had texts to prove that I confirmed my appointment but nothing was done and I had to wait 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room until I was able to get my teeth cleaned... Also if you want to make an appointment make sure to call 3 months earlier because they always seem to schedule the furthest time away be even though your experiencing discomfort.

As soon as I walked into this place I felt it was questionable. The staff all look like current or previous drug users-I was willing to look past that until it was my daughters time to get her teeth cleaned. The dental assistant was rough and aggressive with my 11 year old. She cried and begged the lady to be gental and the lady was aggressive and said it's gonna hurt and they will bleed. My daughters mouth was sore for 2 days. I will NEVER go back. The worst dental experience I have ever seen, the staff doesn't care, they came across as disengaged and not caring.

The worst service I've ever encountered. I have been waiting since 2015 to get a root canal done and my appointment is on January 3rd 2018. As I said before I called them with the issue in 2015 at which time they scheduled me the soonest appointment 4 months out. The day of my appointment they call to inform me that the doctor would be out that day. Thanks! Would have been nice to have been contacted before taking time off work but whatever. So again I get the soonest available appointment 2 and a half months away and this time I show up for my appointment only to be informed that it has now been too long since I had my X-ray done. Now I have to schedule a cleaning and exam this time 4 and a half months out. Ridiculous! I wait my 4 and a half months and go in for my appointment and the hygienist is in but nobody that can do my X-rays. Rescheduled again this time I only have to wait a month thank god. I wait and come in everything went fine for once until scheduling that is. 5 months till the soonest 2 hr window would be available but what else can I do there's not another office that accepts OHP in the area so I take it which brings me to today. It's September 25th the day before my appointment and I get off work and see that I've got a voicemail from smile keepers. So I listen to it and it's a confirmation call. I return the call to confirm only to be told that they have already cancelled my appointment so I will now have to reschedule and furthermore if I miss another appointment I will be dropped as a client. Wow! So I take the soonest appointment again and guess when that is. January 3rd 2018. It's passed the point of ridiculous and to top it off the people that schedule the appointments there are flat out rude. They know that I have no choice if I want to see a dentist I'll have to do what they say. Idk maybe I'm being unfair but I care very much about my teeth and I feel like 2-3 years to get a root canal is ludicrous like the place should just be shut down or at least get some new receptionist. If you get off on making people suffer then why work in health care? Go be a prison guard or something

Dr Mathews (I'm not sure if I got the name correct, sorry) is wonderful! My son has bad teeth and I've taken to other places who kept referring me to offices that are the least bit helpful and always just made me feel like a horrible parent even tho I've always tried my best to keep his teeth ok but somehow his teeth, unlike my daughters, just ended up in a horrible condition, anyways, dr Mathews seen him and handled the situation with care and kindness, she set up a plan of action and has been handling his teeth one step at a time and we are getting closer to being done and it's been wonderful! Can't say that I've ever liked going to the dentist myself when I was a kid but I can say my son, who's 5, has no hesitation when I say he has an appointment and doesn't mind going to her at all! I live just over an hour from the office there but the drive is worth it to go see her! I had spent a good week asking around for an amazing dentist and got referred to her and I'm SO glad I decided to go there dispite the distance and the gas! Definitely worth it in my (and my sons) opinion!! Got my daughter into a dentist a lot closer to home and we'll see how her appointment goes tomorrow, told her if they don't seem nice then I'll take her to the far away dentist too but since she doesn't have "special teeth" like her little brother that I want her to at least try this closer dentist office first

I have definitely not found a better dentist's office than this one. Dr. Mack, Smurf, all of the assistants that I've come across... they're amazing. I have C-PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder anyway. On top of that, I've had some of the WORST dental experiences in my life at other offices. Traumatizing and scarring, to say the least. Sure, NO ONE likes going to the dentist, but I can say that I would almost rather die than go, myself. That is changing very quickly with Dr. Mack and the crew. He was amazing. Having the shots administered was actually a relief and did not provoke flashbacks or panic attacks for me, for once. In June 2016, I had to go in for two extractions, side by side. And they were fabulous then. Today, I had to have restorations to my front teeth. My teeth are in terrible shape because I am so afraid of the dentist and Dr. Mack and the assistant were amazing at putting me at ease and helping me be less afraid, more calm and I walked away untraumatized. I am so thankful right now for this office, Dr. Mack, Smurf... all of them. I might actually be able to save my smile now and restore my ability to eat normally. If you're considering coming here, just make sure you communicate your needs. You should always do that with ANY procedures, and a dentist's office is no different. They respected my wishes to the full extent and made me feel like they really cared to help me and keep me safe at the same time. I've rarely been so thankful in all of my life. This office is full of Saints!!!
