Anh always does a great job on my hair! I've never had 1 hairdresser I go back to until now. Decent prices and I'm always happy when I leave :)

I've been going to Janyl for a number of years now and have always had an excellent experience. She is very talented and a pleasure to be around.

Went in for a style for my college graduation. I had photos and thought what I was asking for was quite simple. I had a special cap that needed to be pinned on as well. I explained all of this prior. The stylist didn't seem to know how to start, and her co-worker kept making comments and suggestions on what products to use. This did not reassure me at all. I wanted my hair loose at the bottom with some texture/volume and I wanted 3 curls/rolls 50s style on the top. I came out with my hair tied up at the back into some kind of plait with 24 bobby pins in it and it felt like horrible plastic straw with all of the hairspray she put on. Any front photos of me, you wouldn't know I had long hair. She spent so much time trying to put a poof or something on the crown of my head where the cap was supposed to go, I ended up being late to my graduation. She had no idea the cap was to go on top despite me telling her several times and the cap was even in the photos I brought. I had to take my glasses off for her to work, coupled with my complete lack of hair knowledge and time crunch, caused me to not say anything. I was so upset. Despite how I felt about it, several people commented positively on it. How well it actually looked will depend on how my grad photos come out. Except you won't be able to see the detailed work in the photos as it's hidden behind my head. I just wish if she wasn't comfortable doing what I requested, to let me know ahead of time, or get someone else to do it. The style she gave me may have been nice looking, but it was 100% NOT what I wanted. They seem more geared to quick trims and basic men's brush cuts.

This salon is perfect. Wait time is not long, it is very clean, and the ambient is relaxing. Nasim, my barber, is a wonderful hairdresser. She is meticulous, professional, and friendly. She is also a very skillful barber. Love how she cuts my hair and wont change my barber as long as I live in the area.
