Do not waste your time with this location. I told them 3 times I need my hair to be properly flat ironed after blow drying because it's very curly and frizzy. She flat ironed it lightly by the roots and that was it. My roots were still showing waves and when I got home it was just completely frizzy. I had to re straighten my whole head myself. So annoyed.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with the Blo franchise. I have been getting blowouts at other locations for the past 2 years and have never had an issue. This location however was despicable. Yesterday, it being my birthday, I decided to book a 3:30pm appointment for a standard blowout. I arrive at 3:25pm to be greeted by one of the staff and told to take a seat and that she would be with me in a moment. Meanwhile, another client who had arrived before me was taken by this staff member to start her appointment. For THIRTY minutes, I sat there. Neither of the 2 staff members on duty approached me, and no explanation of any delay was made. Finally, at 4pm, the other employee greets me and I ask her why I was waiting 30 minutes when my appointment time was at 3:30. She looks at the schedule and realizes that the woman who arrived before me was actually scheduled for 4pm.... I'm livid at this point and am assuming I will have some kind of discount or free blowout at another appointment.... but no. I proceed with the visit, seeing as I had waited long enough already and that I would be out of there in 45min as that is how much time it normally takes, but my appointment lasted until 5:15pm. I had to cancel my other scheduled appointments because of this delay... on my birthday, let's not forget. Still unhappy, I speak to the other staff member who had originally greeted me who had taken the other woman before me - and she proceeds to blame me for not being on time. When I explain that she checked me in at 3:25 she says "well we were running behind, and the other woman was here before you"... I tell her this is not how bookings are conducted and that being a dentist I can understand if a client shows up early but you are to respect the schedule. This information clearly went over this girl's head and said I can email someone a complaint if I felt like it. Not a single discount was offered, not a single apology was made - and to top it all off - they force you to tip 20%. The machine won't let you adjust the tip percentage. Then to make matters worse, I discover later in the evening that the stylist didn't even remove the knots in my hair from under my head. I'm deeply disappointed in this "service" (if yoi can even call it that) and I will be sure to tell every woman I know to avoid this place like the plague.

I visited Blo bar for the first time this past weekend (Oct. 7th) and to be honest I'm baffled to read any bad reviews with regards to this location because they weren't anything less than EXCEPTIONAL to me. I have thick, wild, curly hair and usually brace myself for a lot of huffing and puffing to get it straightened, but these ladies were super nice, friendly and most gentle with my locks. Which I can't say for most salons I've visited throughout my life. I lucked out and had two fabulous ladies work on my hair...Genesis (super sweet) and a very sweet Irish girl (I feel terrible but I can't remember her name), and they both did wonders. I even stepped outside for about 5 minutes (it was HUMID which is the sworn enemy of curly hair lol) and Genesis was kind enough to re-flatiron my hair for me, WITHOUT me even asking!! I've never had such wonderful customer service! Having said that... if you are courteous to staff in turn, they are just as courteous to you. Most women that did come in while I was in my chair don't seem to understand the meaning of the word. Hence, the negative reviews. My advice would be try it out for yourself. It's absolutely worth it! My hair looked awesome and despite Mother Nature, it lasted two WHOLE DAYS which is a record for me lol. If I could give this place 10 stars I would :)
