Over the past few years, I’ve been getting blowouts here regularly and loving it, especially because they’re so timely. Like most salons I’ve experienced, if you are away too long, you may come back and your preferred stylist is gone. I’ve never had a problem transitioning to another DryBar stylist that I loved. I’m currently back on their membership, and I love getting the additional discount on their great retail products.

Here’s why I’m writing a review...I have had a good experience most times I have been there. I enjoy getting my hair done there, and it lasts a week...normally. After every blowout, they send a survey. This is the first time I have written a bad review. I am surprised I never heard back from them. Why send a survey if you don’t follow up??? I then sent another email asking for a follow up on my survey. There was an automated reply saying someone would get in touch with me within 48 hours. That has not happened so I’m writing a review. The girl that did my hair left sections damp and then went over it w the hot iron. In theory, great...in reality, this doesn’t work. I told her that my hair will fall by the time I get home. She didn’t listen and was more worried about watching the movie playing on the screen for the guests. My hair looked worse than when I make the attempt to blow dry it myself. I’m disappointed this place didn’t follow up or even have a concern for an unhappy customer. I wish they would have shown an interest in their customers. It’s even worse to me right now bc I’m pregnant and due in 2 weeks.

My stylist was the worst. At every turn she took the lazy way out in order to shave time off the blowout. Even at the shampoo bowl, she didn't fully wet my entire head of hair, she just shampooed and rinsed the very top of my scalp without getting the hair in the back wet - obviously to save on dry time. Then at the chair, she was VERY rough with me, pulling my head sharply with the round brushes. I had asked for curls upfront, but then after simply round brushing out my hair, she asked if that was "curled enough". When I asked her to curl it, she then curled my entire head of hair in about six sections, resulting in huge curls that were very tight at the bottom. At the end of the day, the curls had totally fallen out except for the very bottom of the curl where they had been on the iron the longest due to the huge sections. I had to straighten the ends of my hair and re-curl my entire head ON MY BIRTHDAY. Worst blow out experience ever, and I've had countless blow outs. Can't believe I spent money on this.

two stars because my hair looked nice at the end but the process was not relaxing and very rough. I have a tough scalp but i'm pretty sure they don't train you to pull your customers hair. My stylist wasn't very nice and seemed to want to be anywhere but where she was and I get that, sometimes we all have bad days at work. But if I'm paying for a service, you should fake it for at least the 30 min that I'm there. She bumped into me multiple times and hit me with her brush on accident but if she wasn't going so fast and rough she wouldn't have done that. She apologized, of course but I don't think she actually cared. I smiled at her throughout hoping her demeanor would change and I thanked her for making my hair look nice which she did. Maybe she had a bad day, I don't know but I've never had a stylist be so rough and hit me with her tools while doing my hair. Go to Cherry if you want a good experience.

I have been coming to Dry Bar in Buckhead for 7 years . I’m a regular client and this has become one of my happy places . The girls at the front like Nikki is amazing and so sweet each time so are all the girls . The new manager Layna has been wonderful and you can tell she had top notch customer service. I was so sad when Drew left but happy Layna and the team are turning it around ! They offer tea , champagne. Mimosas , coffee .... a real treat I’m in love with this place ;)
