JANICE CLEVELAND is the BEST!! I have always been natural but I have been debating for awhile to do the BIG CHOP because I was afraid of finding someone that could style natural hair. Well Janice did a tapered cut and color on my hair and it is BEAUTIFUL! My style is the BOMB! She is very patient and listens to your concerns and she tells you how to take care of your hair and what products to buy to maintain your style. The shop is really nice and the atmosphere is great and all of the stylists are very friendly! Have gotten so many compliments on my hair!! THANK YOU JANICE!!

I enjoyed my experience my first time visiting SBS I must say I had a great experience!!! I've found me a stylist finally after being in the DFW area for 5 years. Porcelain did her thing!! She's very enthusiastic about her career as a stylist she exudes so much passion takes her time to ensure she's meeting your needs. The owner Lisa was always near by to lend a helping hand. I loved the atmosphere in this salon everyone helping each other it's a BEAUTIFUL sisterhood!!! I can't wait to see what the future holds for my hair!! Thanks PORCELAIN!!!

Strand by Strand by far has been one of the best hair salons I have been to since moving from MA. Crystal is professional and explains every step of the way regarding your hair. She has great customer services skills and knows what she is talking about when it comes to hair. Thank you for all your work and I recommend this hair salon! This salon is a professional salon!

I went in today at noon for a consultation with Porcelain Johnson. I was feeling discouraged about my natural hair and seeking to put chemicals on it because I just didn't know how to deal with my hair as a natural with 4c hair of 5 years. She say down and talked to be about products to use on my hair and even showed me a quick and easy style, I can't wait for my hair appointment in two weeks and to learn more about caring for my hair and coming out with a new look!

I've been a client since Strand by Strand first opened! I love that It is an experience not just simply getting your hair done. You're always greeted and offered something to drink/snack on. The atmosphere is chic! Depending on the service the consultation ensures both you and your stylist are able achieve your haircare goals. My hair is healthy and my sew-ins are ALWAYS on point!
