Review is long but informative! Let’s just say I will not be going back. Do your research before you go. Just got braids done 3/5/2018 and they look nothing like the picture I text to the manager. I called asked could they do LITA twists. The manager asked me to text her the pics. She said they could do it. Well about 4 hours later it looks nothing like picture! When I spoke to the manager I said it looks nothing like picture. She said we showed you a manikin... BUT you showed me that for length. I thought ok maybe they are going to dip the hair in boiling water like Senegalese twists and the PUFFINESS will go away I was wrong. The hair I thought I was getting was supposed to look like silky thin twists not puffy, rough, itchy hair... so thick can barely get into one ponytail. So do you think the manager altered my PRICE. No. . Wanted to charge me $230 ... I was willing to do $200 but come on now you have an unhappy customer..who sent a picture before they came... my time is precious too. So I paid $210 for I guess shoulder length kinky twists with my hair poking out because they didn’t realize I’m natural! If you spritz my hair with a little water it will curl up NOT tell me when you almost done than when they added water they drenched it! Which only made it straight where it will need time to at least go damp. I can’t take it down that was 4 hours of my time I can’t get back...over $200. The one lady was nice BUT spending that much money you expect professionalism and them knowing the braiding hair. Side note-Two ladies (customers)came in to get braids replaced that had fallen out. They ran out of hair for me and another girl the manger had to leave over 15 minuets to go get more.

I wanted to try this salon because it's very close to my house and appreciated that they take appointments and walk-ins. I was able to schedule a quick appointment and was seated as soon as I arrived. I just wanted the front of my natural hair braided. I showed them the style and thought the price they quoted was fair. The style I received was not anything close to the picture I showed them. But to be fair it was "okay." My bigger issue with the salon was how the lady treated my real hair. She was very rough and as she was braiding, she untangled it by "pulling" it apart. I had to stop her a few times to untangle it myself. This salon may do great for synthetic hair, but I will never return based on how they treated my real hair. I will say that I believe the owner tried to be accommodating, but since she was not the one doing my hair, it did not turn out good. Oh, the stylist also added so much coconut oil to my hair that it ran into my eyes, smeared my makeup AND messed up my contact.

I called to get the information before I made the appointment and was told the approximate time and cost. It took 4 hours longer than they said on the phone and the cost was more higher than what they said when I made the appointment. I like the armbeaunce of the shop and the fact that the owner has a nice place to go get your haired braided but not the fact that they try to rip you off you particularly when the service is slow. I will not return nor recommend this shop to anyone. Back to my regular Braider!
