I definitely didn't think I had a great haircut. I thought the women who cut my hair was very nice and friendly, but I just didn't think it was a great cut. I went in specifically to get side-swept bangs (I have a ton of baby hairs from my pregnancy and I thought they would blend into a side-bang) and didn't get them at all. I got a layer at my chin or so (but I already had layers so it was basically a trim). And my longest layer definitely needed a little help when I got home-- she missed a few pieces. I think it is nice when someone is very talkative, and I appreciate that, but there is something to concentrating and taking their time on a cut. I have had these bangs before and I was so excited to have a fun cut like that. It was over very quickly and just not what I wanted. I guess it was an expensive trim. Beautiful place and all the employees seem lovely.

My experience here was terrible. I chose Madelon as my stylist and was extremely excited to get my hair done by her. Her background is impressive and I felt like I would be in good hands. I show up to my appointment on time and about 5 minutes later I’m greeted by her assistant. I have never been to a Salon where I haven’t been greeted by my stylist. I thought that since she was a “big deal” this was the norm. I’m taken to my chair and I sat there for about 10min. Madelon finally makes her way over and introduces herself. She seemed very nice and starts to examine my hair. She gives me a rundown of all the things she is going to do to it and at this point I’m completely giddy and stoked by her plan. She sends me off with her assistant to get my hair washed. I come back, take a seat and she is nowhere to be found. She finally makes her way to me and starts cutting my hair, this took about 2-3 minutes. I thought this was short but she assured me that she does dry cutting (cool) and tells her assistant to blow dry my hair. At this point I’m a little irritated because I thought I was paying for Madelon, not her assistant to cut and style my hair. Her assistant finished styling my hair, Madelon comes over and spends a whopping 3-5 minutes actually cutting my hair and insists she is done. By the way my hair is thick and full. I was shocked, I paid $80 to get a professional haircut and my stylist touched my hair for 10min tops! Her game plan along with all my expectations for this Salon went out the window. I thought if I went home and gave it a little time I would feel different but my hair looks and feels exactly the same way it did before I walked into this Salon.

I absolutely love Urban Betty. Every stylist I've been to does an amazing job and really listens to what it is I want. The last time I went I had Katie West as my stylist and she was amazing! I was super nervous because it was the first time in years that I was getting my hair dyed but Katie did an amazing job. I'm so happy with the balayage and I've gotten so many compliments! I'll definitely be going back to Katie next time!

Madelon is amazing!!!! She's an expert at color! Her blends of Arctic Fox vibrant fashion colors are beyond wonderful. She's also a master at the pixie cut! Love her! The salon is also very comfortable and cute! Lots of windows for natural light and an adorable garden courtyard gat almost ever station has a view of. Front desk staff are friendly, efficient and very capable!

Anna is the best! I’ve never colored my hair before and I was really nervous. Being a natural blonde deciding to finally add color (after it started getting dull) is scary! She took great direction, but also knew her stuff to help me decide what would work perfect for me. I love it. She was super sweet and just an all around great experience. Highly recommend her!
